I get that few watch Pacers actual games and not just the highlights and looking at stats over a long period. What they aren’t seeing is how the Haliburton and Turner have started to jell with Siakam. Over the last 5 games their chemistry has been fully realized and with McConnell playing his best ever right now & the Bucks without Giannis for that first home game is going to be too much for the Bucks to overcome. If the Pacers win the first game it will be Pacers in 6. Otherwise it will be Pacers in 7.

Giannis injury feels very Kevin Durant-esque when the Warriors took on the Raptors in the Finals a few years back. The fact that he isn't starting the series speaks volumes as to the severity of the injury as everyone knows the Pacers are certainly capable of beating the Bucks. But ya, I think the Durant injury t started as a "calf strain" and then became a severed Achilles.

I do think the series will be decided in the front court. Siakim is playing to show he is a max player. Pacers bench is averaging 45 points this season. They will be a factor.

I disagree, I think Bucks in 6. I believe Lillard with more touches will go off at home, at least splitting the series even. Then with Giannis back I say they split it in Indiana 2-2 and will win at home, break Indiana’s momentum and win 4-2.

I think the immediate assessment of Nembhard and Nesmith on the defensive end is on point, this is an aspect of this series that could entirely decide the series with our without Giannis. If Damian Lilliard can be frustrated and tied up in contact a lot it forces the rest of the Bucks roster to beat them, hopefully that means Giannis getting buckets easily.

Pacers are my sleeper team to come out of East.

Pacers should win because of their style, Siakim, and the Bucks missing Giannis, but three things worry me... The first is that the Pacers are without Mathurin, who was actually very impactful against the Bucks this season. The second is that, all season, the Pacers have stepped up when they're the underdogs but played like crap against teams they should beat... And the third is that Haliburton STILL doesn't look like the guy who beat the Bucks 4 times during the regular season.

When the Bucks won the championship you could feel their chemistry just watching them, they were a cohesive unit. This team feels more like an existential crisis. Bucks are going fishing even if Giannis plays 🎣😢

Bucks in 7? Seriously? The Pacers outplayed the Bucks in 4 of the 5 games this year, and that was without Siakam and with Giannis playing. No Giannis for 2-3-4 games is a death knell for the Bucks. Even with a healthy Giannis you could argue the series favored the Pacers, so the only reason you're taking the Bucks is a cop out. Pacers in 5 or 6, depending on if Giannis comes back by Game 3.... if he's out for the first 3 games, the series is over period. Last, but not least, the Bucks are not going to rush Giannis back.... the significant amount of Achilles injuries of late in the NBA is a legitimate concern and that would basically cost him all of next season too most likely.... so they will be VERY cautious about this.

In a game 7, even though it is in Milwaukee, given Doc Rivers’ record I would be incredibly confident the Pacers would win. That’s why I say Bucks in 6.

Pat Bev will frustrate Halliburton, if the Pacers can’t run-can they adapt? Bucks will force them to run a half court offense.

In the playoffs, it is more physical, and you have to play slower, half court offense and defense. Indiana is not an effective half court defensive or offensive team, Bucks in 6.

Giannis projected to be out 2-4 weeks. I can see a Khris Middleton game or a Dame breakout but Indy is deeper and better coached. Pacers in 6
