I got one in ignition red. Some changes/mild updates since 2022 such as signal stalk now stays in position, wireless carplay, bigger master brake cylinder though this tr has the brembo brakes added on top it, subaru eyesight on manuals. I had the 2022 wrx prem but this 2024 models seems to have better suspension and better handling (more feel) but still same great engine though still not as gas efficient as the other performance cars. Still 100% fun awd
Same - had a 22 premium and went up to the 24; as you noted, so many little changes that add up to a markedly better vehicle in my opinion. Sure there are other faster and better handling cars but I just love this WRX - hauls the kiddos, my bikes, etc. while also being able to put the power down in the rain, etc. Enjoy!
@@sasquachjl1228 being a family man myself, yes, it has enough space inside to seat 4 passengers comfortably and trunk for shoppings/groceries. I live up here in PNW so I do get quite a bit of rainy days. If wish Subaru give us the option to pick all season tires so we don’t have to change the summer tires it comes with during winter (I don’t have the space to store 4 tires so I can’t do two sets). Built in Japan, the fit and finish is excellent and solid compared to my Integra/Civic by a wide margin. Just the panel alignments alone.
Car sounds pretty good. It's a shame the rev limit is as low as it is, but the added torque down low compared to the FA20 seems to help off-the-line acceleration.
in video and pictures the car looks bad to be honest but in real life and in motion it's not too shabby! I hope Subaru makes some special editions or does one with painted body cladding for the refresh...
You think the EN is more fun? Tell me in 11 years when warranty runs out and the ///N car is rattling apart because Albert didnt work at the Quality Control dept at Hyundai. Golf R is faster? Souless UFO infotainment and non-mechanical feel might wear off on the future. You will always look at S3s and RS3s with envy. Your life will never be “good enough.” CTR is better? For you, sure. For your family and kids riding behind who’s breaths are interrupted by the jarring suspension while going to the supermarket? No. This car will age well, but you will always find yourself looking for a curvy road in order to wake it up. Otherwise it will feel dead from stoplight to stoplight. GRC is the ultimate awd car? Yes it is. But can you actually go get FAMILY SIZE groceries with it? Doubt it. It has the storage space of a miata and that three-cyl overheats if you do happen to find a curvy road. Wrx is slow and ugly? Depends. Everyone drools over an analog STi or a slushy IS-F/IS500, because that’s the old school feel we want. The VB drive feel will age like wine. When every car is zippy and dull, the analog tachometer and mechanical gears will make this car feel like a treasure. When every car looks like Robo cop with the stupid light bars across the front (EN facelift doing it already without light!), this brute unpainted fenders will look amazing. If the VB was an animal, it would be a fat rhino. A tank that can run. Gets dirty. Short gears for below 70mph fun. …And then you add a Cobb OTC when you hit 50 miles and it’s like it got brand new tits!
Please TELL ME You can get a Automatic as an option... I don't like holding one hand steering and the other shifting through the gears! #savetheautomatics
