Stephen, Where 5,000 pounds of towing is not a requirement, the very fuel efficient Hybrid model will serve best and it still offers a 3,500 lbs tow rating. The big question is how will the Princeton, Indiana plant keep up with demand for the new Grand Highlander and Lexus TX when they are so far behind in meeting demand for the Sienna and Highlander? 🤔

This will definitely be insanely successful for Toyota and they know it so they offer the non-hybrid because the hybrid is such a bottleneck for production, evident by the fact that Siennas are so hard to get. Honestly Toyota should make a 2.4 Turbo Sienna to offer a minivan to everybody who wants one. That's got basically the same torque as the diesel Carnival in other markets but is a lot quicker.

It might outsell the Sequoia because of its 3rd row seating position & cargo capacity. If you don't need 4x4 or to tow, then the Grand Highlander will do.

Stephen, As a fellow "big guy" it was great to see you try out the third row! Can you comment on the driver's seat and how you fit? Also do you have any perspective on the difference between the grand Highlander and Honda Pilot (from the driver's seat)?

Looks like you can’t tow anything with that as there’s no tow hitch and no option to add that on Toyotas website

Platinum and still no electric rear seats like the palisade. I really hate brown interiors so I really hope that isn't the only option
