Im not sold on the Lion V6 , don't know if they have the 3 main bearing issue sorted. What room if any there is for remapping reliability. Give me the new Clone Ranger with the VW TDI V6 and 8HP gearbox. The Ranger tub and drop the hideous gear selector and I would be happy.

I don't like how they basically just copied the Ford Ranger and chucked a Volkswagen badge on it and called it the Amarok. A lot of car companies seem to be doing that now and I'm not really a fan.

If only that we're the case. It because of how much it costs to develop a new vehicle. So why not share the costs of that. The amarok has a lot of differences also.

My 2.3 Ranger would've lit the tires and went sideways before traction control kicked in lol. Boosted turbo gas launches are way more fun.

I don't know, something is just not right with this amarok. As a die heart fan of Amarok, I'm so so disappointed 😏 the fact that it's based on ford ranger just fakes everything. Well ford has been in the game for quite awhile now and they are all good. Exterior and the interior do look amazing but honestly the fact that it's not a Full blood vw isn't just good for vw lovers.
