It's a lovely-looking car which I enjoyed the review of. I'm in the last year of my 4-year lease of a 2021 POLO SEL and would love another Polo (I've had 2 previously, one was off-lot & the other I "designed" and I've loved them), but I want to get at least what I already have or better, but it's stupid expensive now. Not to mention I prefer manual transmission (I'm in the UK) and I would be forced to downgrade from 110PS to 95. Looking at a T-Cross now, my 1st SUV, which has a lot of the extras I would have added as standard equipment. Shame, as I do love the POLO.

Great review Emba, I like how detailed you yap bro 😁👍🏾 But hey we know that VW discontinued the base golf offering intentionally, so they could price up the polo. At this [polo] price point imagine what a golf Tsi R-line for would cost 🥵 So to avoid the obvious "contradictions" and backlash that's why the decided to do away with the golf. I think it was also on the premise that the polo is one of their best selling cars, so yeah easy way to milk the consumer until blood comes out! 😭😭🚮

Polos are so expensive these days. Rather just buy the base Polo Life

Why not concider testing the cars offroad bro, cos you mostly only test the cars in town, and sometimes we gonna need to go offline, it would be good

If it’s not a Real R don’t ruin it by trying to fake the look It’s similar to Non M cars with all those Aftermarket M stickers But at the end of the day it’s all about taste and preference if the owner likes it that’s all that matters

I like everything about this car but I cannot overlook the engine has 3 cylinders and for that price it feels like some sort of a scam.

The rear leg room visualization with your driver position are always questionable because you recline the seat like Polo drivers.

R Line is a scam. I'd think they'd at least have a 1.5 4cyl tsi engine in the trim level, but nah, disappointing. Rather the life trim level once.

What was the point of taking of the plates then? 😅 Anywho, I'd buy a second hand Golf 7.5 R line over this craziness any day and I could get one with less than 50km on the clock! Half a mill for a polo which isn't even fully specified even🙄. A 1.0 litre engine bafethu?!! 🤡
