I agree that there is no grit, structure, or discipline between my generation and zoomers. Even if they were served an opportunity 15 times, it wouldn't matter because when they fail they'll say "but it wasn't the opportunity that I asked for and needed." I had to go to school to produce music. I'll have a 100k debt for my dreams. Maybe it is stupid. However, I'm ready for the consequences if I'm wrong, and I don't end up being the best of the best ever. The point is, the debt and the years of school will build character. The constant practice will. People who I've never seen make anyone laugh once intelligently want to be comedians. People who have only sold drugs and never touched a mic or pen want to be a rapper. People who have only ever seen themselves in photos or a mirror want to be actors. I'm nobody to say you're dreams aren't valid. However, you are nobody to make all of us provide the cover charge. I'll pay back the government, maybe and then some. I'm grateful just to learn. That's the difference honestly. You can't have grit without humility and truly wanting the best for others even if it means you won't succeed. People left empathy in their hometowns and now we're paying the price for it when they don't have their families to tell them they're acting like overly sympathetic monsters.

People should try it some time. A kid cudi song changed my life when I was a kid. "Stay home alot.
