I gotta put a new back tire on mine. There's nothing more fun than scaring the poop out yourself while loosing traction under acceleration at like 30mph! All I did was the old zip tie trick.
i have same set up with cold air intake aftermarket jet 10 hp i think in carb header and torque converter clutch couldnt keep front wheel on ground ordered rear sprocket with 10 less teeth it`s crazy fast and alot of fun and still has a governor on it will remove it after i get billet fly wheel and heavier valve springs
Lol I've had a 212 green doodlebug for 3 years now the engine still runs like a beast totally worth the 100 bucks for the engine best thing is you can beat the hell out of the engine and not worry about blowing them up because they only cost 100$ and like I said i beat the shit out of mine every summer and it still starts up with one pull.
@@cwoutdoors4522 yeah man as long as you change the oil and keep the carb cleaned she should run for a few years before you need a new engine I only run mine in the summer so the winter months it's not being used but if say you can run this bike all year round for a solid three years before you need a new engine if maintaining it properly that includes cleaning the air filter to be honest I've only cleaned my air filter twice other than that maintenance is pretty easy and for 100$ big deal if you blow the bitch up lol 😂
Bruh check out Amazon and get you a hydraulic brake for like 20ish bucks. Works great and it even has a little spot to hook a brake light. I didnt know that when I bought it I seen it after I installed it.
So, I did the exact thing with my mini bike and I was wondering if you had the same issues. 1) my chain will pop off constantly, no matter the situation 2) My throttle will get stuck on acceleration, which is obviously a massive hassle going down a hill.
I just bought myself one and did the stage 2 kit with a 22mm mikuni carburetor. Thing is to fast for the frame I built... I hit about 35 before the chain wants to come off and things get squirrely
The clutch is on backwards...just sayn..get it wet or oily and your walkn...plus.take the governor off, theres one on the throttle an one in the engine.....I have a red one that I've made called the Duke of death..I'm 6'3" an 250lb and it goes 45mph and will throw you completely off if you're not real careful...it scares the crap outa anyone who's rode it...SO MUCH FUN
I put the clutch on the way I did so it would like up with the rear sprocket better, I did my research and by doing it this way it’s not making a difference. We might take the five or off but we have bigger and better machines right now that we are focusing on. Sounds like your mini bike is a blast
I have a 212cc predator engine. Soon I’m going to put a cam and flywheel and dirt bike carburetor. I wonder how that’s going to play out but, you got a nice bike there man
Don't be too hard on these guy's . They just graduated from disney princes bikes, give them a few year's to get familiar with these pure death machines. It's like going from a ford pinto to a formula 1 car.
A hemi Tops out at 40.71 on my db30r with the governor spring zip tied and 70t rear sprocket and the torque is fuckin crazy wheelie and burn out machine
Hey man i’m having a problem with my 212cc where it will only start if i have it at full throttle and it wants take off every time I start it. Any fixes you know of?
I have a manco streaker with a 3.5 tecumseh I used to ride as a kid. I still have it. I’m thinking about putting this engine on it. I could get 30 mph with no governor with the Tecumseh. Just wondering if this 212 will fit on the streaker frame.
Yes you’ll need a clutch that fits the 3/4 shaft and a bolt to mount it. I would recommend a good quality chain because this motor rips haha. Also, you might need a predator 212 bolt mounting kit, that’s what we used to mount it on
Me and my uncle have been trying to find a project like this to have some fun during quarantine, do you think this would be a good starter project for us? Edit: also do you know what the least amount of money to make one of these would be?
