@JordantheDOGE it's not hard to stop froma coaching perspective either. Super easy actually. Tell your guards to make three steps away from their zone and stand there with your hands up and draw the foul and put your defense at a 3/4 press on their shooters he's going to pass to. I would let him do it every play with joy.
@brandondrew4914
@brandondrew4914 Год назад
@JordantheDOGE he's a good player, he's not a great player. There's not a single thing that stands about him, he's not a top 10 player today let alone alltime, consecutive 30 win seasons and being 11th in the conference and 23rd in the NBA tell us that. Shooting .200 in the finals tells us that 4/10 or 22/33 in the finals and yet having the chance with 26 all stars tells us that. Curry by far has a better goat argument but that's not being had because he's not the goat either. There's only one player that even has that chance today and that's Luka and it's tougher for him because again as we know this era is soft as gramas bread and just doesn't mean as much.

@jaspony5983 Lol Lebrons just on the edge of my top 5. Jordan is very clearly #1. Kareem Bird Kobe and Duncan were all better. He HAS to win more rings if he really wants to be apart of it, and if he wants to be the goat he needs an mvp and dpoy in the same year, couple more finals mvp's, a lot more scoring titles, and to be averaging over 35. Scoring has become inflated with the 3pt shot what it is now, so he's gotta get a lot better at that, and I dont even think one of those things I said will happen. Can't remember who said it but theres a HOF career seperating Jordan and James. And James has already played for longer.

I will tell U what MJ did off of the court! He made a far more SUPERIOR Space Jam Movie, and He convinced his whole team to give up their summer to bulk up for what became their first championship won!💯💯 He NEVER phoned it in, He ALWAYS left it ALL on the court and if it didn't go his way ( and it didn't A LOT) He never showed poor, sportsmanship, or made excuses. He shook hands and found a way to be better! But it's all documented. If Lefans didn't go so hard or he didn't have Twitter fingers, He would simply fade out like the rest. One never focused on being Goat. The other can't appreciate his company because He is too busy reminding people that He is the Goat! Which frankly is ruining that very argument. U have no busy playing with brooms 20 seasons in, nor holding organizations hostage until your family member is in the league. Until that happens He is playing 9vs.1!💯💯

Scottie is just a bitter old man that Phil Jackson gave Kukoc the last shot over him vs the Knicks game 3 1994 ECSF. Little did Scottie know, he was busy choking the game away for the Bulls bricking shot after shot prior to the last possession. Had he took that last shot, more than likely he would of bricked it, the bulls would went to it vs the Knicks and lost and got swept instead of pushing to 7 games.

I have to say I give a lot more credence to the ones that have actually played against both. The majority, if not all of them said Jordan. I'm thinking, "If they found it more difficult to guard Jordan while they were ALSO in their prime years than to guard Lebron in their not so prime years..that should tell you something right there". This younger generation hasn't had to go up against Jordan (even while he was in his 40's), so I just tell myself "they don't know no better" lol! Kobe Bryant even said “It’s one thing watching him play and it is another thing when you’re playing against him.” Also, with Jordan's work ethic and competitive drive, if you were to time travel him to today's basketball games, he would have STILL dominated. And that's the point that some of those players were making - He would have made 40-50+ points per game nowadays, because the game isn't as rough as it was back then. Whatever the change in the game was, he would rise to the occasion....it's all about 3-pointers now?..you better believe he would take the off season and improve on that where he could dominate in that area too. That's just the kind of player he was. "For the Love of the Game" ❤

Frankly he would still be able to go 40-50 + points in today's game even without shooting a single 3 pointer, since the game is softer and MJ could drive the whole all he wanted and get an and1 to make it a 3 point play, over n over n over n over again 😅

There are some accomplishments that Jordan has multiple of that the entire rest of the NBA combined doesn't have as many. I love how people try to argue that LeBron is the better player because of his complete statline. He gets more boards and assist and involves his teammates better. He plays chess on the court they say. Well you know what... The objective of the game is to score more points than the other team right. So give me the guy that's gonna do that the best and do it consistently anyday over the guy who's trying to set up an offense. King James plays chess while Jordan gets crowned playing checkers. Also Jordan would be the best scorer in the game and be the best defender as well. Another fun fact to your list. People will say Kobe is a better scorer than Mike because of 81 and multiple 60 point games in just 3 quarters. I'm a huge fan of Kobe and believe that LeBron isn't even ahead of him on the goat list as well, but when it mattered most, in the playoffs, who was the better scorer? Kobe's career postseason high was 50 while Jordan has more 50 point games (5) than he had games scoring under 20(4) in the playoffs. He also never scored fewer than 15 in any playoff game! LeBron multiple playoff games in single digits and one of those in a finals game!? Terry Cummings outscored him by one point in his first playoff series and that never happened again in the next 36.

"MJ DROPPED 48 POINTS ON ME IN 3 QUARTERS AND WENT TO THE BENCH AND WATCHED THE REST OF THE GAME" is an astonishing statement. Also, what if Jordan played the final 12 minutes of that game and scored 20 or 22 we would be talking about a 68-70 point game from Michael Jordan. Man, people need to knock it off with this fictitious goat debate and comeback to reality. Flight #23, AIR JORDAN IS THE GREATEST NBA BASKETBALL PLAYER, PERIOD.

Also assuming he was favored in all 6 championship appearances(which he wasn't, but for the sake of argument we'll pretend he was), winning it all everytime you're expected to is adversity in and of itself due to the insane amount of pressure that mounts with every Finals appearance. Then there's even winning that 3rd to cap off a 3peat which also bring adversity as 100% of the pressure is on you. @@elsamurai1220 LeBron is a better passer - this is not debatable. Higher total and averages. Check out Thinking Basketball's breakdown of MJs game - they went through the footage and evaluated his playmaking. The best playmakers (e.g. Magic) make about 90% of possible passes for easy scoring opportunities, Jordan was hovering around 60%. I'd wager my left nut LeBron would be much higher than 60%, if not closer to 90%. It's natural to put Jordan ahead when it comes to 'clutchess', but depending on how you define it, LeBron actually comes out on top. The best basketball play on offense is the one that gives the best scoring opportunity. If you think the best scorers should always shoot against a double team, rather than pass to a marksman for an open corner three, then you don't understand basketball.

There's a lot of players in the 90s that are in the HoF but you never hear about them. The only reason you don't hear about them as much as compared to other players from other eras is because they ran into Michael Jordan. Jordan shut them all down and ruled the 90s. Lebron has to keep jumping ship and create superteams just to even have a hope of winning a championship. Maybe if Lebron would take the last shot in crucial games instead of passing the ball he'd have a few more championships. And if you think passing out of a double team for an open three is the smart basketball play everytime then you don't understand basketball. The best 3pt shooters in the NBA can only make that shot 33% of the time. So at best it's a 1 in 3 chance of going in. I'd rather take an open layup or dunk everytime. The smart play is to pass it to whoever has the best chance of making the highest percentage shot.

@@AmargaVida Bird didn't need to. The Bulls couldn't get out of the East until Jordan's eighth year in the league when he got his first title in '91. By then, he had blossomed into the best player the NBA has ever seen despite his foray into MLB. Plus, Bird would've rather died than leave the Celtics. Much less to join the Lakers and Magic, who were the biggest team and personal rivalry for the Celtics and Bird. And what does KD's ring chasing have anything to do with this particular argument? One could argue the same thing when LeBron left the Cavs for the Heat. Lol, Hell I grew up with posters of Dr J, Bird, Magic, Moses Malone, and George Gervin on my wall. I never did like, or root, for the Bulls. Even against the Pistons, where the "Jordan Rules" originated. But, I gotta give Jordan the nod over LeBron simply because he was the more well rounded player...and had to "work" harder for what he got, rather than relying so much on his physical prowess (which was pretty STOOPID in it's own right). Plus, Jordan played at a time when the game was wholly different. I think that's where the Jordan/LeBron thing becomes skewed. Is LeBron a generational talent? Yup. Elite scorer, passer, and defender? Yup (but, that last one is debatable...Jordan never had to be pushed in the back by a teammate to "D" somebody up). Can both put their team on their shoulders and carry em to a win? Yup. Could LeBron have played when the game was different? Absolutely. But, we'll never know because it just didn't work out that way. We all can "what if" ourselves to death over that one. For instance, "what if" Jordan hadn't tried pro baseball and remained in the league at a time when arguably, he was at his peak? A couple more titles, scoring, and defensive players of the year? We'll never know. But, what that DOES say is that Jordan is light years ahead of LeBron in their inner-competitivness. I'm old enough personally to have seen all of these athletes blossom into what they became. Agree or not, we all have our own opinions, and that's ok. Apologies for the ratchet-jawing...(but, I will throw out there that the BADDEST athlete that I've EVER personally laid eyes on is, and always will be, Bo Jackson. If only he hadn't blown his hip out...He had already put the Brian Bozworth check mark under his belt, and was fixin to add a bunch more...But, "what if?") Those are YOUR words. Plus, I thanked you for making a reply, and taking the time to do so. I'm also sorry that your illiteracy prevents you from knowing how to read. Oh well...there's always "Hooked on Phonics." From what I understand, it actually works...even for "nonsensical, inferior, dumb," and incredibly rude individuals such as yourself. I'll own up to using the word "rude." The rest is on you.
