Come with happy Jim and PARC ADV,s loaded Kawasaki klr 650. I,ll explain a lot of upgrades that makes this machine even better then it already has been for over 2 decades years.
Sorry but if you ride a gen 1 and don't think you need to replace the doohickey because some kawasaki tech said so, you're not going to have a good time. the doohickey on my 2001 broke in half at 11k miles and I didn't notice until I changed my oil and saw the broken piece sticking out of the drain hole. The bike still ran, and I bet if I hadn't found it the bike would have run for another 10,000 miles until the balancer chain ate a hole through the case or came off it's track and exploded.
That's why what we hear is so subjective. I do agree with you. Loved not going to have A good time. .thanks for getting involved on my channel. I will also forward your experience to any other gen 1 that's doubtful.
It's a calculated trade-off. My wife's Dr650 has moose racing 30 liter soft bags. They both have deferrent benefits. The boxes are east to get stuff out of, and they provide a table top for a gear bag to lay across the top. But you are correct, no good for a Dab. Good thing I only have one leg. 50% chance deminished. Now that's funny. Hey either way I appreciate you getting involved.

Of course. I saw an interview on a channel called DORK IN THE ROAD, he was interviewing a certified kawasaki mechanic. This mechanic said, he has never seen a klr come in because the tensioner spring. DOOHICKY. FAILED. What do u make of that. Just curious. Thanks for comment.
