Last week I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to play Turnberry, but, there was a catch. I would have to drive there and back from Surrey within 24 hours, that's a 7 hour drive, twice.
Knowing that I had to make it work because, well, it's Turnberry, I set about nailing the logistics and getting myself there. Whilst it can be difficult to pick the right hotel, it was going to be even more difficult picking what to wear. As you can imagine, the possibilities are almost endless.
A venue with such a rich history deserved an outfit fitting of that. I always knew a knitwear piece would be a must as well as a fresh pair of FootJoy Premiere Series, so with that being locked in, I set about dialling in the remainder of the outfit. I think it came out pretty good. The contrast of the bottle green Lightweight Trousers by Macade Golf and the navy in the RLX sweater really bring in the whole look together.
Fortunately the golf was good, the course was awesome and the company was great. The perfect 24 hours.
