"Don't Step on a Crack" mythology actually has its roots in more concrete logic. The idiom originates with highland peoples and is found in various forms going back nearly three thousand years. More of a mnemonic saying, it was basically a reminder not to step on cracked steps, stones, or ground. When you live in mountainous regions and stepping on a crack ledge path could mean tumbling over the edge to your certain death, such mnemonic devices are needed.

"Mogambo is a 1953 Technicolor adventure/romantic drama film directed by John Ford and starring Clark Gable, Ava Gardner, and Grace Kelly, and featuring Donald Sinden. Shot on location in Equatorial Africa, with a musical soundtrack consisting entirely of actual African tribal music recorded in the Congo, the film was adapted by John Lee Mahin from the play Red Dust by Wilson Collison. The picture is a remake of Red Dust (1932), which was set in Vietnam and also starred Gable in the same role. Although the original trailer for the film explains that "Mogambo" means "the Greatest," in fact, the word "Mogambo" has no meaning at all. Producer Sam Zimbalist came up with the title by altering the name of the Mocambo, a famous Hollywood nightclub."

In my locality, there is folklore saying that if it rains while there is still sunlight then it means somewhere a dog and a fox getting married to each other or in some places frogs marrying each other. There is also a real incident where some villagers dressed up two frogs and got them married in their traditional way just like humans because the area was affected by serious drought and the very next day there was a heavy rainfall flooding the area. It was so intense that the drought turned into a giant flood due to heavy rains and the villagers had to separate two frogs to stop the rain and it coincidentally worked. 😂😂😂(its a true incident)

@@Nola5427 it’s something that we believe where I’m from. So it’s not true for ur culture but for mine people believe that. This isn’t for truth or falsehood it’s customs that people have to explain things they can’t. I kno it’s not scientific fact but it’s our culture.

showering during a thunder storm can have........shocking consequences. the creator might get angry because you didn't let him wash away the literal and figurative dirt from your skin and spirit. and the next time you try to let him he won't wash the dirt from your spirit. so your spirit will never be clean again and will only get dirtier and dirtier which will effect your behavior and cause others to treat you badly/poorly. for no apparent reason sometimes. and when you die your spirit will be denied entry to the hunting grounds and you'll never get to hunt with your ancestors. and finally, your spirit might crossover on to our side where it doesn't belong because all of the negative energy surrounding us could overwhelm your spirit and corrupt it. this will cause it to take the form of a well known evil spirit......a wendigo.
