I did watch this video back to make sure I nailed everything without any errors and I somehow missed the intro part where I say '20 tips and tricks instead of 25' 🤣 We all make mistakes😁
Also, when riding a wild crystal wyvern, going prone on its back is a good way to guarantee that you stay mounted. There was a time where I was carrying a dino with my wyvern, and my buddy needed a pick up. And we did this to get back to base safely.
Can starve-tame a Daeodon the same way. Having gone out and found a pig I want I harass it with my bird till it fires it's heal, then snatch it and take it to a pen as its food zeroes out. I've had mixed luck getting them to fire it after being separated and trapped and I've never had a starvation tick damage the tame (and I've tried, I don't think wild animals starve)
I love that i've been playing the game since release and i find myself still learning new things about it! Your videos are always great for that! You deserve so much more recognition and way more subs mate, crazy that you only have 18k and your content is far better than some of the big RU-vidrs out there!

Great video, but about the second passager method to regain stamina, i think is just way better to just have a sinomacrops in your shoulder, just dismount in the air, fly with the sinomacrops a few seconds and mount back, and would have regained the stamina, and works with any flying creature
Thanks! Yeah that is a good tip too, I didn't include it only because they are available on Lost Island and no other maps, choosing the method that is available to the majority of players :)
Addition to Tipp 22: You don't have to sit on your owl while its healing. Dismount immediately after activating the heal. But make sure to get away as fast as you can cause otherwise the owl stunts you to. This is very usefull with a high stamina owl or with less stamina consumtion cause you dont have to sit for minutes on your owl. Just let them do there thing.
@@BEYPlaysGames i dont know but now i heared it that could be true. But also i think it depends on the situation. Doing it in the raid or on a dino which is soaking, im totaly fine with banning this people. But doing it in your base without harming anyone should be fine.

I did not know about the sprint land for Desmo, I usually try and hit the land just before getting to the edge on those little outcrops in that Fjordur cave but it doesn't work all the time. Thank you! Recently using a Desmo I picked up an otter that was swimming in a shallow stream to drop it in water with more fish in it. Still want to test if it works with otters swimming close to the surface in lakes and such.
Tip 0 for Qwerty PC gamers: Rebind 'Mount', having it on 'E' *will* get you killed, too close to WASD. A problem for any tame but particularly lethal from flyers. I swap the default mapping of e and f (Flyer dismount probably beats Raptors for my #1 killer all-time)
New players may not have a Desmodus or net gun, you have to remember that the Desmodus are only available on Fjordur and new players usually start out on the Island map so they will not have the net projectile engram unlockable unless they transfer, this tip will be helpful to them.
@@BEYPlaysGames it takes 2 seconds to transfer off server though? IMO it would be a much more worth while investment for the beginner to take a few mins to transfer map and learn the necessary engrams to make their life 100x easier.
YA new players ain't going to have a Desmo or a net gun that they can just whip out their back pocket to play around with, why even nitpick something that is a an extremely useful tip to newer players, pretty certain when playing the Island this is the only method where you can ride ANY flyer while being able to shoot from a seat, and it is a quick one too.
@@drizzle4246 On a server yes and yes you're right, it's well worth the investment because the Desmo is op and so is the net gun. But a large percentage of new players playing ARK play Single Player, it's not as simple for new players to do that and even if they knew how to it would kind of ruin the whole experience going to another map when playing the Island just to cheese through it? 😁
@@BEYPlaysGames you said they can be used on other maps minus aberration, but if you go to the surface in aberration at night and go to the Obelisks, i am pretty sure you can upload and download creatures there too, alongside items
Yeah you can, but the Desmodus is unable to fly on the Aberration map, unless you have the setting for cave flying turned on, that's the only way to be able to fly a Desmodus on Aberration!@@CircusLover1967
Thanks for watching! I'm not too sure really, I did used to play a lot of FPS games like Call Of Duty, Battlefield and Apex Legends back on the Xbox, it just gets easier the more you use it! Honestly though I do wish I would take the time to learn ARK on Mouse and Keyboard but I really am too lazy to want to start learning haha!
Oml I did not inow that the rhyniognatha could pick up the magmasaur or the cloning chamber. I did know it can pick up a diplo though which effectively turns it into a plane.. lol
Maybe someone will disagree, but ive Always used the chainsaw to harvest organic polymer and it gets me the best results. Never had good results with the bat or Pelagornis. Is it just me or does anyone feel the same? Also , I didn’t know the Rhynio could pick up structures?!!??!!
Not at all 😁, I agree, I use the chainsaw all the time, best thing for gathering anything and everything! However the Pelagornis is exceptionally good for the Island map as ofcourse you cannot unlock the chainsaw on that map unless learnt on Scorched or other maps and the only way to gather decent poly is from penguins. Yeah you just need sap in the Rhynio's inventory so it can convert it to resin (won't be able to pivk up structures otherwise) 🙂
Hey, sorry about the late reply! I'm sure you've figured it out by now but on Xbox it is done by holding RB and tapping LT so I believe for Playstation it would be by holding R1 and tapping L2!
@BEYPlaysGames still default for Single Player and probably non-dedicated. Pickup is allowed for 30seconds only without enabling. I'll have to see if I can get hold of a bug to test, I have pickup disabled
@@celem1000 Honestly thought it was always that way, I remember back like 6 years ago once you placed something it was down and you had to demo it if placed wrong, then they added an update, you can even pick structures up for 30 seconds on official servers if I remember correctly! Shouldn't effect the Rhynionatha either way though :)
