This man could entertain everybody just by using his guitar and his incredible voice. I´m from germany and i´m 28 years old, so, i´m so far away from him, in time and distance, but he´s one of my absoloutly favorites.....one of the greatest artists the world will ever see

He always gives the least-considered perspective in his songs. Perspectives of people you may or may not deem deserving of it. It’s an interesting psychological take and tends to evoke an emotional reaction… IMHO The “live at Folsom prison” from 1968 version of this song is the best and I think every Johnny cash fan should experience it. Johnny Cash was metal as f**k before metal even existed. RIP

so hard i mean if i did five i would do 5 i got stripes 4 ring of fire 3 25 minutes 2 man in black 1 folsom prison blues. and im a 12 year old and this is country on what my classmates they listen to dan and shay the suck and hip tis hip that it is horrible i have my earbuds in and crank it up all the way.

My mother is a fan from Johnny Cash and when I was a teeanager:I thought music that my mother likes to listen.Can not be good.Later when I experience more different music.I realize how awesome good he is/was that good music always survive thetime and can steal your heart.

That was so fuckin' awesome! One of my favorites, in any genre. As for cash, he was the man, their ain't no denying that. Cocaine Blues is my other favorite of his alongside this. thank you for sharing this clip

@FriedEggsandChips , no he didn't write this one, but sure made it his own! Shel Silverstein wrote this one. It appeared on his 1962 album 'Inside Folk Songs'.

@hmcnally Yes, this is from 'The Johnny Cash Show'... This one was recorded 2 december 1970. A total of 58 shows were recorded. Some great artists were there!
