The reasons there are rubber duckies in here is because programmers use rubber duckies to explain the code to them step by step and I hear it's a very effective way to find bugs. At one time Google ordered an enormous amount of them for their office.

i guess the only thing i'm lost on is the customers. all of it is a digital world. and they sign up a similar way but don't lose their memories. but why? what do they gain from this that they cannot achieve in the real world?
