Narrating the tragedy of many retired policemen taken away by the Eritrean forces in 1978 and made to disappear. 45 years on, their families live without closure. The relationship of Australian law and political authorities with the immigrant communities is exemplary. But as civil strife and injustice prevail in the immigrants' home country, conflict between those who support the government and those who reject it has reached a concerning level and often turns violent. Will such developments damage the exemplary relationships between the authorities and immigrant communities? This video warns against such developments by relating personal experiences and observations I had in Australia and airing the plight of the policemen who disappeared 45 years ago.
