Hi Jamie kind of need your help well I need someone to talk to okay here it goes. My dad wants to be a Catholic but my mom what to stay a Prodtestant I hope I spelt that right well I agree with my mom because I went to a Catholic church and I felt scared, uncomfortable and felt like it was wong and I'm so confused I don't want to leave my dad alone but rather stay the way I was raised I don't know I'm saying this you probably won't respond but I'm just so lost also I'm 13years old. :'-(
+Pals B I know you probably want Jamie's advice. But I am 17 and although I been a Christian for 7 months, i've learned a lot...That conviction (confusion) and feeling like it was wrong is from the Holy Spirit. I do feel like Catholicism is wrong too because they worship in saint's, and do a lot of other things I would consider wrong from the Bible. I understand why you would not want to leave you're dad alone...But this is your life you are living. I say pray to God about it, and He will show you all the right choices. Like, before I saved I was going to a popular church but never felt anything. Than when I left, and actually got saved, I decided to go to this new church with my mom. I dearly want my step-dad to go to church, but he wont go to ours since ours is very charismatic and wild in a way. My step-dad says he'll only go to the other church, but I fell like it's wrong to go there. You know, that feeling when you get bad vibes? Anyways I hope this information helps you a lot! Remember there are false religions out there (which I feel like catholicism is false.) I hope you make the right decision whatever you feel is best, for you! Remember it's your life for Christ.. Pray to God and see.
Pals B I wish I had a Bible verse to help you out but I am still trying to understand the Bible since I am still a "baby Christian" but remember whatever you do, do it for the Glory of God.
