I put 275 40 R20 Tires, I needed 2" wheel spacers to get clearance in the front, Demon Replica Wheels and Nitto Tires, ordered them both from Discount Tire Direct

RT has different spindles in the front than the scat pack and hellcat. You need a 9" with a 245/45 +15 or +20 offset. Might be able to fit a 275 with a +10 offset 9".
Looks like maybe the wrong wheel offset....I've been looking at new wheels for my charger and from what I'm experiencing the proper offset is very important....nice charger like the black and blue....good info good vid subbed 🍾💪🏽👊🏽🔥💨
Rim offset is what is hurting you. Yes the tires will fit... but on what rim. The offset of that particular rim bring the tire further into the body. Always check offset
I haven't experienced any crazy vibrating or wobbling at all, just make sure you get the spacers retorqued after the first 150 miles! After that get them retorqued every 1,000 miles or so, you should be able to tell when it's time. Like I said the biggest drawback was my fuel mileage
Likely going to use my stock 245/45/R20’s in the front, and maybe 265’s on the rear. Best review of this scenario I’ve seen on YT. Like the rear wheel pole though!
@Scott Miller you can run 275/40/20 without wheel spacers if you actually do it right & order your wheels with the right offset. That's what he did wrong & just fails to realize. If he got that same wheel just with a different offset he would not have had to use spacers. The offset will determine the backspacing of the wheel & as you see in this video the backspacing of his front wheels were wrong which made it hit his suspension & breaks when he tried to mount them without the spacers, meaning the offset was wrong NOT that a 275 tire is too wide to fit. If that were really the case then how do you think all these guys are running 305, 315 & even 335 tires on Chargers & Challengers without using wheel spacers? Have you never considered that? Go to your local dodge dealership & look what size tires & wheels are on all the Hellcats & Demons from the factory... You will not see wheel spacers on any of those vehicles & guarantee all of those cars you see will have much wider tires than a little 275. 275 is not even a wide tire to begin with.

Therefore stating you do not have to use wheel spacers to run 275/40/20 size tires on a new model Dodge Charger or Challenger is a fact Jack, not an opinion. Too many Hellcats & Demons sitting on Dodge lots brand new from the factory with with much wider tires than a 275 & none of them have wheel spacers. Guess during all your lil "research" that you some you failed to research & educate yourself on wheel offset & a little thing known as backspacing. Majority of times when people are using wheel spacers it is to compensate for the FACT (not opinion) that the wheels they are wanting to put on their vehicle have the wrong offset. Which is what the wheel spacer is made for, it is simply fixing the error in the wheels offset to provide it clearance to be used on that particular vehicle. A two inch spacer just shows the person had zero clue what they were doing when choosing the size if their wheels as a 2" wheel spacer is more than extreme. Most of the time people those who are using spacers are only using up to 1/2" at most. Go to a big, big popular car show & look at the thousands of nice cars around & get back to me on how many of those cars you see with aftermarket wheels that even have wheel spacers. Lol the number may shock you but will not shock me a bit. Yo, hey what do I know, I've only been a mechanic for years & mounted/balanced more wheels/tires than fathomable. Do alignments & earn a living from doing this stuff. Just go to a reputable wheel & tire shop in your area that is know for working on show cars, hot rods & race cars, show them my comments & ask them if I'm wrong. Guarantee you will learn more from listening to them than you have from any of the so called "research" you have done. Have a good day. Be mad or hate on me all you want but you should be thanking me or the two other people in the comments on this video who actually put some honest truth & facts in these comments. Too many ppl who do not know anything about a car following advice from others who have done things the wrong way & then argue that they are doing it right because they saw someone in a RU-vid video do it, yet they do not even know the person in the video or their knowledge of vehicles. You can bet your bottom dollar that anytime someone is using 2" wheel spacers on all 4 corners of their daily driver that they had no clue what they were doing. You must not realize that this guy having his wheels poking out from the side of his car is only going to trash his paint job on that Charger over time each time he drives it. You consider that? You're thinking right now, yeah right, how is it trashing his cars paint... Umm because as he drives down the road his tires are going to be constantly slinging rocks, dirt, debris, mud & whatever else he runs over right up against the sides of the car. So it will have rock chip & paint damage down both sides of the car after a while. Lol but I guess that's doing it right, huh rofl. NOPE! That's just the smallest worry, those 2" spacers are going to also trash his suspension components as it induces stress upon those parts that the suspension was not designed to take. Oh really? Yes that means he will be replacing inner & outer tie rod ends on BOTH sides of the front of his vehicle often, including replacing ball joints often that is as long as he is fortunate to change them each time prior to them completely failing & causing him to total that car while driving at highway speeds or going through a sharp curve. This stuff does happen. You will not believe me but check with reputable mechanics, speed shops, custom shops or tire shops just maybe you will believe them when they tell you that I'm telling the truth & not just spewing opinions. Scott Miller you & others like you want to talk like you know everything about automobiles in comments on the internet to complete strangers knowing deep down that you have no deep factual automobile or mechanical knowledge. You know you couldn't tear a n/a or force induction engine down & fully rebuild it, couldn't repair a transmission, would not be able to work on your own car's suspension or do a 4 wheel alignment. You probably couldn't even diagnose a serious issue with your car & would take it to a mechanic to diagnose & pay to fix it. Yet you say I'm wrong about using 2" wheel spacers because you read something on your lil kindergarten Google search, then followed up by watching vids of complete strangers online with a similar vehicle as yours. Who were running wheels similar to what you want to put on your car & you consider that "doing your research & being educated" 🤣 okay 👌 You may convince yourself or your girlfriend with that bs but I know better.

How many cylinders does your engine have? How many gears does your trans have? What is the firing order of your engine? How many qts of oil does your engine hold & how many qts of transmission fluid does it take to fill your transmission? What type transmission fluid does your trans take? Is your alternator IR, ER, controlled by the PCM or another design? What is the factory offset of your wheels, front & rear? What type of suspension does your vehicle have? Is the 12v system in your vehicle grounded on the negative or the positive side (The neg is typically black marked by a - the pos being red marked by a + just to help you out 😆)? Does your vehicle utilize a HP fuel system or LP? Your AC system is it R12 or 134a? Is your vehicle FWD, RWD, AWD OR 4WD? Also is AWD & 4WD the same thing? Are all AWD systems the same? What is better for driving in the snow RWD or FWD? Is the average vehicle on the road powered by a motor or a engine? Or is there even a difference between an engine & a motor? Scott tell me how many spark plugs a 7.3 International diesel takes? Where is the water pump at on a 60s model Volkswagen? How many camshafts does your car have? What typically happens when a car 'jumps time'? What's the difference in DOHC & OHV? All that is just basic stuff that anyone driving should know about their own personal vehicle BUT the average driver has zero knowledge of the automobile that takes them everywhere they need to go. Large portion of them do not even know how to put their spare tire on in an emergency (or if their car even has one), how to check their oil or top off the antifreeze. The Army's motto used to be "Be all you can be" that was back when American society had a backbone. (The motto was changed to "Army of One" because the old one was offensive to the overly sensitive. I’m keen enough to know just what I want and to ensure it’s fitment. Reason I’am choosing to go with 275’s is due to acquiring 20x9.5” hellcat replicas for my 2009 Charger R/T. I discussed and received consultation from both the dodge dealership and a reputable tire and wheel distributor. I decided I was happy with the results and decided to purchase. Your comments carry as if you’re “all mighty” which O won’t doubt you have a certain degree of knowledge to clout. I’m not going to try to summarize my knowledge or experience of the automotive industry. But thank you for the back and forth. I certainly would not go the route the YT channel creator went with.... But at some point each to their own has to learn.

I have spacers all the way around but not 2". I will be making video about mine fingers crossed that I don't have to order new set of spacers. The rims are 20×10 with 275/40/20 tires for the back and 20×8 with 255/45/20 tires for the front.
Thanks for your honesty yeah I seen a bunch of videos on 275s most famous of them all was Marspeed video, he got 275s all around with no spacers I have no idea how he did it but they look more inward they don't stick out like yours but Im doing 275s in the back and probably either staying with my 245s in the front or 55 not sure yet
@PawlDunken the guy in this video would not have had to use wheel spacers at all if he'd ordered wheels with the right offset to begin with. Please go watch videos where the people know what they are talking about. Wheel spacers can be dangerous especially when using an extreme size like 2" on all four wheels & you drive like this guy does. If you do not believe me, just go read the warning disclosure label on any package of wheel spacers sold at your local hardware store. There is absolutely zero fitment issues with a 275/40/20 size tire on the front or rear of Chargers or Challengers either one. Anyone who has to use wheel spacers running that size tire or wheel on a Charger or Challenger is only doing so because they ordered their wheels with the wrong size offset. Go look up & read about wheel offset & you will understand. The wheel offset will determine the backspacing of your wheels. Their is positive & negative offset. What this guy should have done was send the wheels he ordered back & even just go order the same size wheels with exact factory offset as what comes on a Dodge Demon considering he is unfamiliar with working on automobiles. You heard him say in the video that he'd never even heard of wheel spacers until a week before he shot this video. That should tell you all you need to know in regards to both his knowledge of automobiles & wheel fitment. If a 275/40/20 tire will not fit on a Dodge Charger without using wheel spacers then how is it that Dodge fits much wider tires from the factory on Hellcats & Demons without using spacers than what he is with using spacers?? Too many Chargers & Challengers out their running 315 & even 335 tires without wheels pacers. Ask someone who has a hellcat or demon if they are using wheel spacers & I guarantee they'll laugh as they will quickly tell you NO that wheel spacers are dangerous & are asking for serious trouble or a disaster running spacers on any vehicle that has a lot of power. I really hope you & anyone else who watched this video reads up & educates themselves on this topic because I'm sure you'll probably think I'm making all this up or brush it off as I don't know what I'm talking about. @@PawlDunken you're welcome & you definitely done right going staggered versus using spacers. You would have regretted the spacers. At best they wreak havoc on your vehicles suspension at worst they cause you to wreck due to suspension component failure & you could end up hurt or dead. (Or hurt someone else or them end up dead.) Enjoy your car & new wheels. Nothing like driving your favorite car after putting a new pair of shoes on her.

Lol you've both given me slight hope for humanity. Of course he screwed up & ordered the wrong wheels. Problem is he knows nothing about a little important thing called wheel offset. If he did then he wouldn't be using two inch spacers on all 4 corners of his car when running narrow lil baby 275 tires. 275 tires are far from being considered a wide tire. The look on his face if he only knew what size tires come factory on Hellcats & Demons without using wheel spacers lol. And a 2 inch wheel spacers is both extreme & very dangerous. Especially when you drive like he does! They add completely unnecessary stress to the suspension of the vehicle & in time are a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. Which will be something the guy in this video finds out eventually if he keeps the car long enough. I just personally hope that he does not hurt any innocent bystanders or others driving when the negative of having those 2" spacers show their true colors. The mechanic should have educated this guy & then refused to install them for the sake of this guy's safety & the general public. What he should have mentioned in this video is the liability label warning of danger that's on the package the wheel spacers come in. I definitely would not even ride in this car let alone daily drive it. I've been working on cars too many years to know better. Any experienced mechanic would tell you the same thing if they were being honest.
@@kevinravazza4425 they're wrong, trust me. Next time go to a wheel specialist & tell them the look you are going for & size you have in mind. That way they can order you proper size wheels & get you the right fitment. You could run the same size tires without wheel spacers had you gotten wheels with the proper Offset. Kevin study up on wheel offset & backspacing & you will fully understand & see what I'm talking about. Just trust me.
