Hi Toasty DIY. Thanks for posting! I've got a '77 280-Z and I haven't pulled it apart yet and your video gives me some courage. I've got to replace the manifold gasket at some point. Did you take video of pulling everything apart prior to here? Now that you have the head off, what are your plans for upgrades (if any) as you put it back together? Camshaft upgrades? Are you going to keep the original EFI or upgrade, or re-use the original exhaust manifold or header it? Nissan ran the square ports out of the exhaust like you have on your head until '77 and then they switched to round ports. I don't know for sure, but I believe they stayed with round ports on the ZX's too.
