@@Nonotherthan yes I'm doing the online gunsmithing course and I picked the 1911 as my project build. With the AK, I plan on designing a left side charging handle built in with the top dust cover(with a full picatinny rail that doesn't interfere with the irons), making any AK platforms more efficient for right handed shooters.

No clue, I own a battle belt by them and it seems to be pretty good quality especially for the price I paid but I also haven't used it much to be honest. What are your thoughts on possible jail time or heavy financial penalties for those found employing said illegals? Rats don’t come out at night if you don’t leave any cheese for them to find and if these people leaving the cheese out so to speak, knew that they’d risking their families livelihood by employing cheap laborthen maybe we’d see less people coming from elsewhere to “take American jobs”. I feel like even less talked about is the fact that there are plenty of Americans who’d rather save a few bucks paying an illegal to work for them than give another American a job and wage worthy of said domestic labor. No amount of young people seeking out these jobs is going to matter when compared to possibly pocketing a few hundred or thousand per contract job. Greed unfortunately is much stronger in this country than the other thought of “we should be employing Americans over illegals”

I think if the employer has a legit payroll set up then they have to know the person is illegal so yea they should face something. Even though it’s probably obvious. Do I hear you correctly that your blaming the employers for hiring the cheapest workers possible? Not that your wrong. But in the same position wouldn’t you do the same? I guess not if there was harsh repercussions huh? Good point.

@@CBDsuttyI understand for sure that any employer is going to want to hire the best they can for the cheapest price. That’s a given and I think inherent if you want to try and make any kind of profit in this day and age. The issue I guess I have is that it seems we are all only talking about one side of the problem when the other is as glaring and ultimately (in my opinion) a bigger issue. Not saying that anybody is a rat per se, but can you blame a rat for coming to find food to feed itself? Because I definitely think you can blame the guy who leaves cheese out knowing the rat will come while also Loudly complaining about having a rat problem At least this is how I see the problem laid out in how vitriolic some of the arguments against said immigrants. Like if you hate them so much why offer them jobs? To me it seems like saving a couple grand on the next home renovation gig is more important than getting to the root of the problem

@@CBDsuttyconversely if you want American labor, it’s unfortunately going to cost more than what you will pay an illegal laborer. You can’t invite the people over to do your work for cheap but then expect them to fuck off in handcuffs as soon as the job is done. Just to be clear just trying to get some discourse going on what I don’t often see being mentioned. I mean no disrespect and hope I am not coming off rude in any way. am eager to hear what you and others have to say regarding this very nuanced issue
