As Canadian I had my first in Pasig Phillippines a place you visit and it stays in your heart Joillibee To a Canadian is like that first warm day of spring That tells you winter is gone To a pinoy it's a taste of home when your mom and dad took you out for dinner on a special day ..Now they dont have to fly 18hrs to feel that memory

People (Filipinos) like Jollibee because it gives you that childhood memories. They branded it as a kids fastfood and family. That's why most Filipino kids if you'll ask them where they want to eat, they will always say Jollibee.

You can brand your product as much as you want but if the kids don't like the taste, then it's useless. This means that Jollibee indeed tastes good. No other chicken comes close to Jollibee. Not even KFC.

Hey Jollibee! I live near Bathurst and St. Clair in downtown Toronto. There are a LOT of Filipinos in my neighbourhood. I'm not Filipino, but I love fired chicken and I've been hungry for Jollibee for literally years. Open one in my part of Toronto PLEASE! By the time I get all the way up to Scarborough and I've stood in line for hour after hour, I'm worried I'd starve to death before I got my Chickenjoy.

Was in Japan for 10 days a month ago on vacation, tired of eating Japanese food, so I looked for Jollibee, but no Jollibee. Definitely need a Jollibee in Tokyo!! With all the Filipinos living there in Japan should be a BIG move for Jollibee!

@@2bad2late23 I was with fellow Pinoys on this Japan trip. Our "Japanese" guide driving us around was a U.S. Navy Pinoy who was stationed on base in Yokusoka, and he knows all the tourist spots around Tokyo (like the palm of his hands), and similar venues around Tokyo and beyond. We ate mostly Japanese foods, sushi and beef/chicken noodles, when hungry for food at this outing, on fast food restaurants, and got tired of it. If there was a Jollibee in Tokyo, I would no doubt asked our Pinoy driver to bring us there. We did buy some chicken at the Navy commissary and I (me!), cooked my famous-praised chicken adobo dish which we all had for dinner one night with some hot steaming jasmine rice at his housing on base. The Pinoy guide and his wife speaks a little Japanese when ordering food, or buying something, and some actually, some Japanese people we met randomly, on the street or in shopping store, believe it or not, tried speaking "some" English to us. The Pinoy clan spoke Tagalog, and English! :)

Jollibee is using the nostalgia from the Filipino community abroad or the OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers) to their advantage that's why it's successful branching out from the Philippines. If you ask one Filipino eating at Jollibee abroad why it's still the best in their opinion? Their answer would be "because I used to eat chickenjoy when I was a child and I miss that.", or close to that answer for that matter.

You guys are crazy lol---I was only 12 the first time i tasted Jollibee on thier first shop in Cubao QC, it as fine dining then and the only serve, Hamburger, SPAGHETTI and icecream on plates and mugs---It was not a fastfood joint then,--That was 1977.--now iam 52

Just ordered two boxes of two chicken joy with rice via drive tru and they let me wait in the car park (part of Jolibee) enjoyed my senior card discount including that of my brother, and few minutes delivered in your car while u wait. We were in lockdown but Filipinos are still doing their job efficiently and with dedication. I just paid 220.00 pesos about, US$5.00for two boxes of two chicken joy inside with rice and gravy It's Easter today in the Philippines so we are enjoying now our meat after fasting from meat during holy week.! Just trying to show off to people of Canada that Filipinos really enjoy their Jollibee, bringing joy to all Filipinos! 🤗👌👌🐥🐣🐥🐣🐥

Of course, Jollibee was established abroad so that Filipinos living or working abroad would not feel homesick anymore. But what really happened is that Foreigners are really amazed with Jollibee, and no one can help it being popularly known worldwide. It's not just the food but the ambiance of family oriented environment and excellent customer service. No one can deny it, hospitality and friendliness culture of Pinoy really showed in dealing with customers.👍
