Dapuffdaddy 69 tbh I think they're both very patient and smart players, it's just that Komo is better at playing the neutral while fatality has a better punish game
See, this is what I love about players like Fatality and ESAM. They don't whine and moan and John about Cloud, they just exploit his weaknesses. Great stuff to Fatality.
Thats a big portion of the competitive Smash players honestly, most people who complain are pretty average or just main a character with a bad matchup vs Cloud. I still manage to clutch some wins despite maining Yoshi and him being like one his 5 worst match ups, but its always smart to have a secondary to bring out if possible.
Wire Clouds not even hard to play against, he's broken in doubles but in singles he's barely top 5. He just really shits in low tiers but then again so does shiek, rosa, diddy....
A lot of people love Fatality so much because of his flashy combos. I love him for a different reason. Think about the character he's maining. Captain falcon is a really exploitable character when thrown off the level. He's real easy to combo and has a terrible recovery. A lot of his key moves are prone to being missed such as his dash grab and up air. He's a great character thanks to his punish game, but he's not a character that can be used so easily. I love Fatality not just because of his falcon combos, but because he's making really optimal uses out of Falcon to advance real high in tournament. And right now his efforts have payed off since he's the very first Falcon main to make it into grand finals at a national tournament. I don't even recall Melee falcon players accomplishing such task
Ness in Pajamas though early on in melee the best player for a time was a falcon player but he didn't really "try" apparently he just wanted to have fun i guess.
What I mean is some moves are easier to miss than others while also leaving you open for punishemnent. E.G. Wario's F air punishables due to it's short range and connecting with the late hit is unsafe at low percents. Meanwhile, a move like DK's B air is really safe due to is's long range, short start up and good shield pushback. In the case of Falcon's U air and Dash grab, they're high risk, high reward moves. Dash attack cannot grab at extremely close range and the same goes for up air, especially against short characters. They need to be spaced properly in order to be effective, which they are don't get me wrong, but if you miss either move you're essentially losing stage control most of the time.
Bruh like all the underdog types are tired of the usual top guys and are taking over this game!! They said zero v. Ally? We gonna eliminate them and have our own saga!
So is Komorikiri a reference to Komori Kiri, the girl from Sayonara Zetsubou-Sensei, or is it just a general reading of komorikiri, which means "it stays at home"?
Ally was eliminated by Esam, Komo eliminated by Fatality. Neither of which are unknown players. You really can't make that list at all and not include Zero who was eliminated by a player most people hadn't heard of
If I beat Komo one of the best Clouds with Falcon considering how hard it is to approach I wouldve probably popped off too and I never pop off, its just a surge of accomplishment and a lot of players have these moments.
