Whats funny is... before T was discovered or made it BIG. All the known Link mains like Izaw, Sova, Hyrule Hero, Scizor, Mr R. were what we looked up and each one brought a unique play-style of Link to the table. The thing all of them have in common is that they used some type of fancy game play and techs. However, with T on the other hand doesn't bring anything fancy to the table just his raw reactions and fundamentals. He has the simplest Link play style of them all yet he's topping thanks to his fundamentals.

I watched a lot of hours of Hyrule Hero Link making crazy tech skill and loosing matches and I decided to quit as a link main and pick fox/Cloud, (not even that tech and so much reward). After watching T make it that far only with fundamentals and basic combos (dthrow-uair) well spaced fairs and ftilts, I pick again my link and play only link fox (droped cloud cause is boring af). Good choice, placed 3rd and 2nd in the next two locals (Im a constant top 8).
It's the same thing with Sonic. The best Sonic main, KEN, is the simplest one. Meteor kinda keeps it simple most of the time too and is also pretty freaking good.
I love watching them talk about how mindblowing it is that he made out of winners side of pools, they probably couldn't even imagine at that point in a million years that he would get third place.

+Meteor Orbit thanks for representing my favourite character well and not playing lame. I love sonic and am tired of everyone hating on him but i can't really blame them because a lot of sonics play super annoyingly.
Game 2 is boring. Sonic us really anticlimatic character. Link have so much tool he is the exact opposite. Still baffles me how west tier list still put him lower in tier list. Japanese players put him middle of mid tier at worst.
