2K22 (EP 81) Interstate 90 in Montana: Billings to Livingston 

Montana is a massive state. driving across the state east/west, west/east can take forever. it can take you almost a whole day to cross the state.

Nice one! Some very beautiful country you were driving through. Though pleasant-looking, still... a nice playlist for music, a codriver for some conversation, and a radar detector are a must!

I drove this stretch of I-90 from Billings to Livingston in 2018 on my way to Yellowstone, very nice ride and US Route 89 South to Yellowstone was amazing.

Another thing worth mentioning here. The speed limit thing. Around 1994 or so, the Feds finally gave up on mandating a national maximum speed limit. At first, Montana's rural speed limit was "Reasonable and Proper." However, they quickly had to give up on that and set an actual number, because "R&P" violated what is called "substantive due process." Meaning you can't have vague laws, because they are sitting ducks for subjective enforcement, which in turn violates the spirit of due process.

As you drove towards Livingston, MT, congratulations! You just reached the eastern edge of the Rockies once again. I can't wait to see Bozeman, MT and another drive through the Rockies, but in Montana.

Oh wow, that stretch of I-90 between Billings and Livingston is a bit more interesting than I would have imagined. I thought it was all flat east of Livingston.

You and I have the same philosophy: at least 100 miles before breakfast! Your camera does amazing work in making it seem like I myself am driving in Montana!

Montana is what I expect it to be- from glasslands on the Eastern part to having mountains & forest the farther West one travels. While I can't to see your upcoming video on Bozeman Pass, I always wonder how I-90 looks at the Continental Divide.

Though I know you have to avoid actually using this kind of music in the official video soundtrack to avoid copywrong strikes, I listened to "Montana Cafe" by Hank Williams Jr to start this video out.
