New subscriber here and homeschooling mom to four girls! I will have a second grader this coming school year also! Thanks for all the great resources! I will definitely check them out!
This is very helpful! Thank you! I'm not new to home school but I was looking for more resources to make curriculum building easier! Workbooks are my Jam!!
Thank you for the video! Here's how to pronounce Houghton: Hough- rhymes with "though" (or "dough" or "flow" or "go") and -ton has the schwa sound like at the end of the word "button." :)
I know this is a year d video but for a first time homeschooling momma my daughter will be entertaining kindergarten And my son got passed to second grade but doesn't know to much stuff he hardly learned anything in 1stgrade i wanted to buy the good and the beautiful curriculum but what do you think have you heard about that curriculum if so what's your thoughts on it please help me
Hi there! Welcome to homeschooling! I have heard many things about the good and the beautiful! A lot of people love it! And it seems like a great beginner curriculum too! I have not used their core subjects such as math. I have bought their typing and their safety unit, and they are pretty good. Unfortunately I can’t be more help because I haven’t used it myself but if you search here on RU-vid for good and the beautiful flip throughs you’ll find so many I’m sure! Happy homeschooling! 💕
Hi there! So we do about 4 to 5 hours a day. Sometimes less it really just depends On The day. And no we definitely don’t do every subject everyday. Subjects like social studies and geography and such we do one a week.
My mc I include homeschooling coats in our budget every year. And for our 2nd grade year I set aside $150. As they get older and you add more subjects that number will increase.
