2XKO Will Be Playable At Worlds and Hopes For Another News Drop

With the EVO demo now long gone I'm sure many of you have been wondering when we would see a playable version of 2XKO / Project L again.. and here it is.... but unfortunately, it's going to be exclusive to those attending League World 2023. May be a bit of a bummer if you were hoping for something more public you could get your hands on, but still wanted to make it known and throw my two cents on why this could actually be a big deal.

SO it's gonna be playable again! It may not be what we all are hoping for (Like say a Public beta) but still good to see Riot gathering feedback from people getting hands on time - this time from outside the typical core audience. I do feel like this would be a great place to also drop news, but again grain of salt here I don't think Riot typically does so for Worlds... but never say never. UPDATE: Per Draggles (Project L Community Lead) there will be no news alongside the Demo return for Worlds - So guess we'll just be hoping for more gameplay from the same build and get to see what LoL players say about the game for now!

I hope with the demo being playable that we at least get a Devblog within that timeframe. Although I agree that World's might not have anything new. Riot don't normally expand beyond League of Legends proper during Worlds. A Devblog talking about what they learned (if able to share) from Evo and how they felt with that event could be cool.

Yea that's pretty much what I would expect as well. Even the Yas trailer and the How to play vids dropped while I was in line for evo before the doors even opened ,not like during the event onstage or anything like that. lol Come oooon Dev blog before worlds finals!

For sure, it's honestly still a little weird they didn't have her at the EVO build - she was one of the first champs ever shown off at all. Makes me feel like they are intentionally holding her for a separate reveal because she and Vi are enough to bring huge hype by themselves though

Now that's another one I'm curious about. Jinx is in, no doubt about it - they even said so after people were asking why she wasn't in the demo build. But Kat they straight up seem to be avoiding..... I personally think (and hope) she will still but it's really hard telling anymore. @@Aeroezz

Yea I saw that in the editing timeline and thought it was funny too! Good stuff you've been putting out btw, it's kind of shocking Riot hasn't put some of the music out themselves plus they still used bits of the Sessions music in the Yasou trailer mixed in. But man I would be so happy with another news drop.... I don't think I can do another 6 months with nothing. lol

Now this is fun, can't wait to see the response from Non-FG people about the game and hopefully they drop something like trailer for Jinx or Illaoi, but what made me curious is still the progression system and single player content because if it has none of these i'm afraid that the game will end up like Multiversus, hopefully they have plan for that. Great video as always brother.

Yea this will be a big test for sure, but I also think you are spot on we need to see what the actual "game" mechanics are going to be for the casual side to really get hooked. Straight up I love the combat and core gameplay, seems a lot of the other content creators who have played do as well. But the game has been in the oven for such a long time I can't imagine they drop this thing and all it has is Ranked, Casuals and Training mode... There has to be something else going on behind the curtain. But as always we wait and shall see..... and also thanks as always brother!

New Bruiser Minion vid! If I had to hope for a character announcement, honestly, here's how I'd Rank em'. 1. Thresh, He'd drum up quite a bit of hype, very well known. 2. Jax, Recently got a large Visual Update and is Fresh in League player's Minds, but, may not be "big" enough of a drop. 3. Vi + Jinx, Reintroduce Jinx, and with her, show off Vi, VERY recognizable, even if not that well-into league, or more into the competitive scene, they've seen Arcane.

Man I think Jinx and VI showcase ALONGSIDE something like Arcane season 2 trailer would be a massive slam dunk. Thresh or Jax though.... I think I could die happy at that point, two of my absolute favorite Champs by a longshot.

@@BruiserMinion I think the problem with doing that alongside the Arcane Season 2 trailer is that it would be drowned out. Arcane Season 2 is gonna drum up so much hype that end of the day, a reveal for an upcoming project will get forgotten

If there's any news I'd bet on it being a full Jinx reveal, since she didn't show up in the more recent ones or the EVO demo.

It's been a minute since I last seen your vids. It's sucks that the latest demo will only be those who attend the event, but at least we'll get new gameplay videos. By the way; any new Project L character suggestion vids coming in the future? I genially love those videos.

Yea that was another thought I had too is hopefully bare minimum we get more gameplay of the same demo! I am hoping to get back to the Character videos sometime have just been busy and distracted by other things so it can be hard to do those ones they can be quite time-consuming. Hoping to get back to it though!

Yea exactly! I think thats the best avenue as well. Drop some Dev blog and info with a new character then actually have them playable at worlds would be great.

Oh did you go last year? That would have been a great one to see still, finals were excellent! NGL I would love to go one year even outside the possibility of Project L stuff happening.

Sorry to hear that man, and yea agreed it would be sweet to see T1 finals in person but I don't think this will be the last time. And I think Faker is still signed on until 2025 isn't he? so a couple more chances to see him if that's what your after plus he could always extend it

It would be nice to see where everyone is at development-wise. It was kinda cool that they showed illoai when she was really early on, then an update when she was about 30 percent, and I imagine they will show when she is close to completion to give an idea of what that progression looks like along with how long it takes. But then again maybe they will do what they did with Yasuo where they said nothing about him then were like here you go! he is playable TODAY. lol

So you havent done a "heres how id add this character to the league fighting game" in almost a year will you be doing more or are you content with just covering project L news as it comes out over the years?

I do genuinely want to get back to making more edited videos and especially the character vids while we have downtime between official news. I will say they are very time-consuming, and a bunch of personal family stuff and starting a new job has made it much more difficult as of late but very much hoping to get back at it and things are settling down a bit finally so fingers crossed! lol

sobre os testes dos youtubers brasileiros varios que eu acompanho testaram como o eterno ninja e o kof brasil e outros youtubers de varios jogos de luta a riot sabe que fgc é grande no brasil especialmente quando falamos de jogos como brawlhalla e kof e street e mk então é digamos que uma oportunidade da riot atrair o publico brasileiro com as coisas que gostamos como grafico shel shading e personagens que são de outros jogos alem de outras coisas um pouco mais nichadas como personagens brasileiros que soltam uma ou outra frase em portugues que obviamente daria certo com aquela personagem de valorant

It does make me genuinely happy to see them expanding past just the American scene and I'm very much interested to see where the game ends up being popular! Good start and definitely want to see more of stuff like this from Riot.

For sure! especially if they are playing the 2v2 mode which was pretty much mandatory on the EVO setup I'm curious if that will make it scrambley fun even for those more casual players.

i would like braum to be playable wether he be a grappler or a guile-style zoner... i think he's fit for this game.

Yeah I know nothing about league aside from arcane and I feel the wide appeal of the show definitely helps seal Vi as a character in this roster
