I bought a rick rack bag after watching the million dollar bogan. He puts that bag to the test. Best bag out there in my opinion. Don’t forget to put your lock on by the clamps. Extra security and it will also keep it from flying off if something happens. Cheers

Awesome quick-release suitcase for the bike. Now they have to make one waterproof and another bag that'll be able to snap onto the first one and also be used as a backrest

Don't forget to take straps anyway!! When you roll into the hotel you can strap your camera bog on the Rickrack trolley. Nice stuff. Enjoy the ride.

RickRak bag is the best. I’ve been using it now for over a year. Very well made. I used it on a 5 day trip recently and it’s made packing and unloading such a breeze. Especially after a long day of riding! I live not far from RickRak home base and the crew there is awesome. I’ve gotten quite a bit done through them.

Have all three products, first year for the bag, and they are great! I throw a cargo net over the rain cover as it did rise up some but the cargo net provides quick and easy additional space. Enjoy your trip!!

I like to stick my gas cap on my ignition switch (you may not be able to with your bar set up) rather than my gas tank. Just preference as that is the first thing you have to grab when you get ready to leave, Great no brainer product from RickRak!

I have all three of these RickRak items for a couple years now. The only issue with the bag, after putting on the rain cover multiple times, it must have stretched because it blew off, I got another one and now put a cargo net over to secure it better, haven't had any issues since doing it that way.

Brother I've been running my RICKRAK roller bag for the last 4 years. Great piece of NEEDED Gear for your bike. I have the same set up and it looks Very COOL on the bike. Recently I put on a Chopped Tour Pack on my 17RGS and I have the luggage rack on the top of the tour pack. I can also order from Rickrak the mounting bracket for the top of the tour pack and can have both for Trips. The only down fall with that set up is that it puts that added weight up higher and the difference of the weight is noticable. I bought my tour Pack from Advanblack which the paint match of my bike is PERFECT. I have a custom factory paint job Hard Candy Hot Rod Red Flake with flames. My question to you John is I know what the stock saddle bag clamps when you tighten them they lock into place as you tighten them more. Does the RickRak clamps also do the ratching that the stock ones do?

Rode California to DC and back with my RickRak; used them for years. Absolutely the best. Be careful with the rain cover. It is very waterproof but has a tendency to be blown off so use a simple strap around it to be sure it stays on. Enjoy!

Great video, I have had my roadglide "lady blue" since 2012 she is 2013 and since finding you on youtube I have gotten great ideas. Just finishing up a 9 day trip in the east coast, was actually up in your neck of the woods. Hit Atlantic city and when we entered New Jersey realized we were in your home state. But I know what you're saying, carrying in our gear every hotel was a pain. Next year I think I'm buying the big bag for the rack so I'm not bringing in 3 bags every stop.

I rock this system - I planned on using a similar system with a bag and rack setup. I also use a tank bag that sits on my gas tank using magnetic flaps - I use that for camera gear and other electronic equipment. The nice thing about the tank bag is I can grab and go anytime I stop for lunch and such. I have a 22 lowrider st, in my saddlebags I keep things I might have with me all the time like tools, gloves and tool kit. I am also from Maine but live in upstate NY. I know southern Maine pretty well but I grew up in Caribou which is way up north near the Canadian boarder. If you have any questions or places to see - shoot me a reply. I may be taking a long weekend trip myself - I need some good sea food... BTW from top to bottom is a 400 mile ride. Have fun

Hey John, I have had my rick rak for over a year now, we love it. Just be advised that if you have the rain cover on, you still will have to strap the rain cover on. It doesn’t stay on in the wind. Besides that, it is awesome. Just wanted to give you that info. On a side note, I received a pair of Indy Ridge boots today for my birthday! Stay safe Brother, Sarge

Looks great if you don’t have a tour pac. Myself I put everything, clothes and toiletries in a stuff sac and put it in my tour pac on my limited. Lockable and dry and nothing hanging off the bike. For the miles that you do I’m surprised you’re not riding a limited, I quess you’re still hanging onto your youth John lol!

Those big hook bag fasteners are a backward step from HD, my '14 Ultra just has a simple quarter push twist thing with a fold out part, they're even lower profile than the rickrack knobs. Nice vid, Ride safe from the UK!

I have seen the gas cap magnet before I never seen the gas cap to be a problem can lay it on top of the gas pump or even in the seat. Me or my wife will not sit on the bike while fueling. If some freak thing ignite the gasoline we will not be setting on a fireball. Ride safe.

I have the Rik Rack saddlebag bolts and hated them. I went back to the original. They never seemed to thread the way originals did. They are in my tool box. Just my opinion.
