It was great to meet you at the track and thank you for signing the shirt for my son. Man it was HUMID on Saturday and everybody was crazy fast on Sunday. Always great watching ya'll stomp on that loud pedal, but you've got some work to do to beat Jianna at the ice cream eating contest haha

The "lots of waiting around, the frantic activity for a short bit" matches my experience with being at motorcycle circuit racing too. You arrive on Friday for practice sessions, (if taking part in practice), then you have qualifying on Saturday morning, then one race in the afternoon, and two races on Sunday. For the class my friend races in, that's about 20 minutes of activity twice each day, and 10 hours at the track! :)

Morning Clay. So who are you talking to on your radio and how can Jessie know when to hit the kill switch? Is he watching a graph or a monitor .however he does it its amazing. Future video suggestion, maybe for an “off week”.. I’d like a good explanation of the way the cars are spec’d out. They must be nearly identical to run within .001’s apart. Are the chassis all built by one shop? Every team run identical motors? Thanks!

You mentioned pulling a main stud out of the block, I have a question. I'm sure they don't just use aluminum threads in the block. Do they use regular heli coils or do they use a different type of metal thread insert?

Why do you not do “throttle wacks” during warm ups?

Most all of the teams have discovered that throttle whacks are not necessary anymore. Plus when you whack the throttle those cars jump pretty hard on the jack stand and could potentially jump off the stand, which would not be good in the pits full of crew and fans.

It was a false reading. I think they have a mechanical gage that they can check as a backup. But yes, no oil pressure is not good and can be catastrophic.

When your pulling fuel out on the burnout, Is it to take power out of the engine or to stop it from loading up because there isnt enough load on the engine?
