I bought a brush right after your first video. I did go a little more expensive just because I wanted something with a little more quality (nothing wrong with the one you're using at all). Let me just say thank you! This was definitely a game changer. I was growing frustrated with my beard due to the constant fly aways, the jawline curl, etc...which made me to start trimming too often. This hack is great and I highly recommend it to others. Stay frosty Scuba and keep up the outstanding work you do mate!
I'm new to the beard scene. I just started growing my very first beard. I really like your channel. I have learned quite a lot about growing and caring for my beard from watching your videos. You are one of the best beard channels on RU-vid.
Bought one of these and love it. I recommend using a wood comb for shaping & helping to guide your beard thru the brush (you want to avoid risking a plastic cheap comb melting! ).
Thanks for the clip. It was quite help, and I particularly, really appreciate the fact that I'm struggling with having a full beard. Avocado oil helps as well.
Thanks for the tips brotha! Watched a couple vids a few months ago and was eager to get myself one. My girl actually got it for me from Amazon and it arrived today.Watched this again to refresh my memory amd really pay attention lol. I'm a member of the Beard Club for men and have the proper oils and gonna give it a shot to see the difference it makes. The one I got isn't exactly the same as the one you featured but, very similar. Again thank you for the tips....wish me luck. 🤘🤘🤘
I asked a well known social media stylist about these (withholding their name). I was told these will destroy the structure of hair shafts over a short period of time. Glad to see you did a follow up on your original vid. I'm leery about using one, going to stick with my hair dryer and comb.
I don't how this will affect your beard in the long run, but talking about the smoke point of the oil makes me think about cooking. Smoke point is when the oil itself starts to stick and burn. What your cooking is still taking the heat below the smoke point and the amount of time the heat is applied to what your using it on will determine exactly what the heat does to it. Like warming the oil and hair up like a hot oil treatment or frying the hair like bacon in a hot skillet. So I think your right about not going too slow and maybe not too often even using oil. Thanks for the tips. I wouldn't have thought of it. 😁👍
What up, nice beard tips. The Black Friday beard balm is awesome!!!!! Kent comb is legit. Keep up the great work on tips and products that work!!!! I need to update my pic lol.
I love being subscribed to your channel. Anytime I have a question on my beard I resort back to your videos. Some I watch again or some that I've never seen. And you always have the answer to my questions. Plus you make your videos fun and easy to watch. Thanks. Don't worry I don't expect a reply lol. Would follow your Instagram if I had one.
You brought this type of brush into my life and now I'm addicted to it. I use it almost every day. Now I need heat brush rehab. Thanks a lot. BTW...you can get Argan oil at Vitamin Shoppes
I've just ordered my first beard straigtner from amazon can you please tell me what to do cleaning wise on my beard before I use it for the first time ever P.S I love you and your videos so much that is why I'm trusting you with this information because I know you will tell me everything that I need to know thank you for taking time to read this
I take all your advice and all works although I use other products that are a bit cheaper because I'm poor. Anyway my question I tried the advice you gave but I still have this wavey curl on my chin part of my beard any suggestions on how to get rid of that?
Just bought one use a wash balm and oil but sometimes can't get rid of the poofy and curl hair look even tried blow drying which did help but only so much
Nice hack, ill throw a squeez of argan oil in with my balm before I pass through with the heat brush. But as I pass through ill follow the heat brush with a boar bristle brush (very lightly) to get the stragglers/fly aways to sit, plus it helps add some detail to the depth.
I gave it a shot for a week! It honestly does the job SO well! Personally, it made my beard too straight for liking though. It definitely reduced time spent on my beard, but I’ll stick to the blowdryer for now
Hey scuba I found this straightener on amazon and it’s got your picture on there. I remember you saying if we saw you on a product to say something. I screen shot it but have no idea how to send it to you.
Yo, so I got a question. I’m growing my beard out for the first time, and so I’m still trying to figure a few things out. Everyone has videos brushing the cheeks and chin, but nobody ever shows what to do with all the hair getting squashed under my chin and the top of my throat. Those hairs are 4-5 inches long but they are squashed down to looking like they are barely an inch and a half. I have a naturally curly beard to begin with, so I’m already fighting that… but any tips?
I don't think I've seen this on your channel but Have you ever got a rash or a dry patch on your beard, scratched it and it bled or have it come and go? If so, what is the cause or how do you treat it?
Got any tips (outside of this brush) for getting the curl out of the jaw line across the front? Mine dips in right across the front of mine and drives me insane. I use a hair dryer on low heat but just can't seem to get it under control.
Why put oil on the beard before the heat brush? My barber suggested just using it after the beard is dry after you've showered and before you add oils/balms.
What type of argon oil do you use because the argon oil I use smokes very easily and just burns off if I apply it before using the straightening comb on my beard. I know the first time I used it was my fault because I had the brush set at 410 degrees but the argon oil still smokes at 355/375 degrees. I just apply it after I use the comb because the smoke show is concerning, lol it doesn't smell like burnt hair at all but it is still scary. lol
Hey scuba you said trim a raw beard mine looks crazy that way would be trimming all day..I’m new to the beard care game using your recommendation best I can have a two month beard and think my first trim my gf messed up helping .should I see a barber ? Is it to soon?
I received my brush yesterday and tried it. Yes it did the same thing when I tried it. I did have it at 450. Lol I’ll try lower and see what happens. The reason I bought it was to make my beard straight on the side jaw. These tips help. The last hack is honestly the best help. I wish my beard would stay straight like it is in the morning before a shower. 😂
