I am just starting to work out and I love glute bridges, I do them with reisstance bands but I don’t know if that is enough or not to grow my booty quickly since I’ve never worked my muscles before maybe that’ll work even if I don’t use weights right off the bat? What do you recommend?
That’s a great starting point. 😃 Stay with body weight & resistance bands till you master the movements and can do 12 reps x 3 sets. Then if you’re comfortable, add some weights. With weights, you’ll start at 8 reps and build your way up to 12 before increasing weights / reps. As always, your health and safety is the #1 priority so really listen to your body and check with your doctor if you have any concerns 💕 ily

1) Glute Bridges are effective. 2) Best time to work on your booty is to do so after you’ve reached your desired weight or close to it, unless you’re under weight. 3) Be willing to make progress by starting with consistency, then add a little weight.

THIS WORKS OMG HEAR ME OUT, i watched this video on april 24th, and its now may 1st. i did 100 glute bridges a day and noticed results so quickly, i noticed yesterday when i was just looking in the mirror and realized i actually had a butt😭😭 i dealt with insecurities about my butt for so long, im telling you DO GLUTE BRIDGES, i added some additional exercises onto it after a fee days such and 30 donkey kicks and 30 fire hydrants. but if you’re insecure and want quick results, do glute bridges. you got this!!🤟🏼❤️
I've been doing 100 glute bridges everyday for 4 days now and I swear I can clearly see the difference. It's getting bigger but of course the first 2 days were hard, my butt was really sore the next morning lol but I tell you guys it really works like magic.
A little announcement: Theres nothing wrong with having a small butt,, and theres also nothing wrong with having a big butt. All different shapes and proportions are good! A healthy body is an attractive body! So try not to feel like you need to change for anyone else but yourself :)
She is not lying!! Before I saw this video, I started doing glute bridges which my mom first showed me how to do. We actually call them frog pumps, and it made my bum grow quickly. I also recommend biking. It might just be me, but I started biking and it took me about an hour, but I unintentionally started growing my butt. I kid you not it literally took an hour of biking just to start seeing progress.
I need to start biking again. I just get uneasy biking on the road on my own because of other cars (and I get lost lol). I usually bike with my dad but he doesn’t always want to go bike riding.
try not to focus on the weight, focus more on the results you see. muscles does weight more than fat, so when you gain weight you will actually be gaining muscle in your butt and therefore it will get bigger :)

my problem is my ass is really flat but my thighs are really big (so it’ll look like i’d have cake from the front but from side and back you can see how flat my ass is) AND i have hip dips 😭
@@libbyyyyyyy you need to make sure you eat enough protein for ur body weight. also start off using your own body weight, then add some weight using dumbbells or even a heavy item in ur house. resistance bands are good too. make sure your legs are far enough to feel the resistance

But squats target mainly quads. They are definitely not the best exercise for glutes. Weighted hip thrusts are scientifically proven to activate them the most.

Been at my ideal weight for almost 3 years after loosing 56lbs. This is exciting! Right now I'm actually on a "cut". I decided I was going to drop 5 lbs below my ideal weight and then gain the 5 lbs back while getting adequate protein and building butt and ab muscles. When I lost my weight the butt went, haha. I'm 62. When I was young I was the "Brick House". I know the genetics are there. My young daughters got the butts.
Way to go @delphinekirkland1757! No one will truly understand what that success story means until they have been on your journey! Losing weight is also advertised as being just so easy, but the reality is it is so hard!! 🎉 I know, because I am forever working on it.

I tell you how, I had the same problem. Don’t, dont, dont do cardio! Lift some heavy weights and on some other days do some HIIT or fat Burn Videos, eat healthy food with high proteine
Vanessa Chiunda I’d suggest you do whatever workout you want to do just avoid cardio and you could also do glute isolation workouts like bridges, donkey kicks, and what others had mentioned ^^
I was doing the same old leg lifts and squats & wasn't seeing results.... I started doing the butt bridges and i saw a huge change in just one day! So i had a feeling that was the exercise you were talking about!!😊👍
@@Journey1133 glute bridges do really help. i did glute bridges RELIGIOUSLY 2 yrs ago. i saw results after a week. not huge changes but definitely visible ones. i did them for a month and gave up and just got lazy. you just have to make sure to be eating enough and eat stuff with protein it it.
You are absolutely right! I'm trying to lose 30 pounds and noticedy clothes are getting loose in the belly but I'm not dropping pounds, muscle weighs more then fat so I ain't even trippin lol
Shawna Williams Muscle doesn't weigh more than fat. It's like saying apples weigh more than pears... There's no context. A lb of muscle and a lb of fat are very similar in size. Saying muscle weighs more than fat is one of those nonsensical workout phrases that are banded about despite being nonsense.
Essentially what is happening is, your fat is being replaced with muscle mass. In fact, you may end up just plain gaining weight or looking bigger because of the muscle growth but it’s all good things. Eventually the fat will shed and that muscle will reveal itself.
Anna Sangsokpa You can't "replace" fat with muscle either, another popular none fact that'll hear in gyms and from so called trainers, same goes for "turning fat into muscle". It takes a lot longer to gain/lose muscle than it does to gain/lose fat.
shyanha I love bridges because I have lumbar radiculopathy and bridges really help my lower back. I already have a booty, I just need to tighten it up and bridges works for that too.
I’m so thankful I watched this. I’ve been getting so discouraged because I’ve been working out, eating healthy and losing weight. But the main place I’m losing weight at is my booty and I’ve been doing so many workouts to try and stop it. And i was fortunate after child birth....they said i have very elastic skin, so i had no loose belly skin.....my bum however is heading south fast, and getting flatter,. but Im gonna lift it back up with your help. Your before and after photos did it for me, all the proof i needed..
From a PT: clench your butt before lifting into your bridge and only go as high as you can while your butt muscles are activated!! It will save your lower back! Also if your knees hurt during bridges you can do dorsiflexion (pick your toes up so your weight is on your heels) or walk your feet out a little. Hope this helps!!!

Kyo - Chan nope, the places where your fat will be stored isn't based on the food but your genetics, the reason of eating good carbs is because lower glycemic index and nutrition value, but if you will eat too much even good carbs or eat healthy and clean in general but still you will eat more than you burn you will gain fat
