Brewers would be against both trades. Kikuchi is making 12 million this year (why trade Burnes then?) and Espinal is a UTIL guy… something Milwaukee has plenty of. Knack isn’t a bad start, but they don’t want Vargas, someone who isn’t even hitting .200 after 350+ BA. For Williams, the best MLB closer with 2 years of control and cheap, it’s going to take an overpay, not 2 question marks. If the Dodgers want Williams, expect something around Lux and a decent overpay. Brewers don’t have to move anyone and have said they aren’t blowing it up.

There's no way the Brewers trade Adames for a 32 yo pitcher and a 29 yo utility infielder.

As a Boston fan I don't see them moving Perales he's the most exciting arm in a farm without any good arms I think they'd be more likely to trade Duran and get Cabrera and other pieces. Or if you want this trade then swap Mata for Parelas

As a jays fan I love the Adames move. But in the event Milwaukee wanted prospects instead I think it’s a super easy swap to put Barreira in the deal in place of Kikuchi and do that. Just makes too much sense

As a Jays fan I'm all in in this trade. Now just convince Atkins! The Jays seems to be more focused on an entertaining stadium than a competitive team. Adames brings a skillset we need in both sides of the plate. Fingers crossed

As a jays fan, I'm good with the trade, but if there is any chance of getting Belly, this might throw a spanner in the works, so I wonder if Atkins will move fast enough to get it done. It would be great to have Belly and Adames, but that's not happening.

My personal mock for an adames bluejays trade is barger and Zulu, would give them a bat first option to pair with Ortiz in the infield and Zulu has the upside of a closer, works in trade values too

I love the Jays trade here. I'm with you, Bo should move to 2B and Willy takes over at SS. It only increases Bo's value I think. He'd be so much better there. Still leaves Biggio, IKF, Schneider at 3B until Barger or Martinez come up. But it instantly improves offense and defense.

Dodgers only need Luzardo and Scott….and they really don’t need anyone. They can give up Vargas, Stone and a couple other prospects.

As a Jays fan, I would do the Adames trade in a heartbeat. Kikuchi would be missed esp if he has a similar season to last, but this is his walk year and Espinol will not be missed given the infielders we have. The question is whether milwaukee would do it.

I’m liking the Miami trade for us. Need to get another infielder who is about ready to be called up.

In a jays & Brewers trade, i think jays could try and Pick up Adames & Wiemer. Jays need a 4th OF, brewers have Chourio/Mitchel/Frelick/Yelich already out there, he's expendable. The trade would be To Toronto: Willy Adames Joey Wiemer To Milwaukee: Santiago Espinal Adison Barger Leo Jimenez Josh Kasevich Alejandro Mejean Brewers get back a solid prospect and a lot of depth that they could work with. Jays get back an everyday 3B & a 4th outfielder with potential to take over next year with KK gone

For Miami it's a no they do not need another second baseman. They need either a shortstop or a catcher

I think it's the Yanks that are going to get Cabrera. There are rumblings about it already and the Yanks and Marlins have pretty good front office relationship. I think its more of a rebuild year for the Sox.

Red Sox will play the season with the staff they have. They have a glut of OFers. Boston wants to trade OFers, not pitchers.

The trade actually doesn’t make sense for the Dodgers in that they would have so many designated closers that it’s impossible to even carry into post season. Blake Treinen is expected back from injury this up coming season. There is also Feyereisen. If the Dodgers are not comfortable with these guys due to past injuries then one of them should be included as part of the trade. Also, more money may be tied up into a player like Williams when less expensive options are available. Mookie can’t play 162 games either so who plays 2B. Has to be Vargas. There really isn’t a top 2B prospect for the Dodgers. There is no reason as to why Vargas can’t make a big jump. He was the Dodgers No 1 prospect. He started the year with a broken hand and wasn’t even allowed to swing.

Horrible return for Adames. Crew doesn't want Kikuchi whose 32 and making 12 million. Espinal is a 29 year old utility guy who doesn't benefit Milwaukee all that much either. He batted .248 last year with 2 home runs and is older than what Milwaukee is looking for in a return.

Why would the Brewers trade Williams now ,yes I could see Adames getting traded, but why Williams ? The Brewers have just as good of a chance to win the NL Central as any of the other teams in the Central ! Why would the Brewers trade their closer when the Pirates have Bednar, Cubs have Alozay, Reds have Diaz, and the Cardinals have Helsley ?

Dude are you serious about Williams to the Dodgers? 1st how many options does Williams have, none. 2nd Dodgers have 3 Bonafide Closers in Hudson Feyereisen and Trienan plus Phillips, River Ryan and possibly a returning Dustin May. Not to mention the prospects almost in limbo as value compared to age starts to decay the way it has recently where guys are aging out their mist valuable years to other clubs.

All of this just smoke a waste of time.
