Hi Ruri. I am a Japanese who will soon be 50 years old. I also highly recommend "the courage to be disliked (嫌われる勇気)". I know exactly how you feel after reading this book. I read this book by accident when I was feeling discouraged, and it changed my life. I will try to read the other two books as well. Thank you for introducing them to me.

My favourite books are : Brave new world, the magic mountain and the rider on the white horse. But to be honest, I read very often books and I have a very big collection of books. And it is a really advantage that I am multilingual. So I can read the books in the „original language.“ German, turkish, english or french.

One thing that has really held me back is thinking out of the box, because in that box the majority is convinced that you're wrong and so you can't help but doubting yourself. I've struggled with it for my whole life but recently I realized that it's ok to have these ideas of mine and that they are valid and unique. I'm now working on projecting them in the real world. Great video and love you Ruri! I appreciate that you share these great things you find along, it means a lot.

Thanks a lot for the informed recommendations; I read a lot, but it's mostly fiction, so it's nice to find something more practical for a change. The commentary about why someone puts off writing a book and eventually doesn't do it really hit home!

I would say that you can’t change the past but you can change how you feel about the past because how you feel about is based upon your perspective which has the potential to change if you’re willing to dive into the pain and articulately work through it for a better outcome accepting it for what it was but what it doesn’t have to continue to be.
