Yo i never comment but this time I have to. Watched your vids and streams for this league and they were helpful. But this crafting tip was insane. I already had the perfect bow to simply click the +1 to socketed gems on it without knowing. I just did it and now I have an insane bow just through watching this vid. I never really do crafting, so I was not aware of that

Hey Palsteron! Just wanted to thank you for the build! I've finally got the achievement for Maven, so now I'm 100%! FINALLY!! THANKS!! Was able to do it with only 4mill DPS because using Ballistas gives you freedom of movement you need for that crazy ass fight!

I'll throw in on Impossible Escape locations - Supreme Ego gives you 24% reservation efficiency and flask charges if you want them, basically completely replacing Ashes of the Stars and letting you run Purity of Elements if you were gunning for it from the start - YMMV depending on how many levels you need on Precision. Sadly this info isn't *very* useful anymore because I bought the jewel for 6ex a few days ago to try it out, just checked it again and now it's fricking 14+ - but still miles better than Ashes of the Stars price tag, so I'm posting this anyways for anyone who really hates ailments.

Hey Palsteron, I got the supreme ego impossible escape jewel 2 days ago and it gave me an idea to do some tweaks. I sold it so I could get alot of currency to get the cluster jewel setup. I bought the Conduit impossible escape jewel took the hired killer node with that node. Put Charisma on my neck and added purity of elements. I changed reservation mastery node to 8%dmg per aura. I speced out of Deadly Draw but I didn't like the feel without it. The 10% faster ailment dmg feels much smoother with it. I like the idea of the threads of hope, I'm gonna mess around with that tonight.

IE with precise technique is also huge, especially for mapping (10 move speed + 40 AR while phasing) . plus 3 other strong nodes to take.

I discovered that impossible escape with "Lethe shade" is actually insane. Bought it for 2ex (now it costs 5), it gives acess to 10%max life and es, 12%dot multi, 25% fire dmg, -5% enemies ele res and 2 suppress nodes if needed.

Played ballista again killed all the bosses. Thanks for the videos. Anointed watchtowers again tho idk I like it that way but the thread pad hope looks interesting. Cheers

It's very easy to craft a super top-end bow this league. You just buy a "+2 socketed bow gems" fractured on any base (30-50c) and recombinate it with a short bow from porcupines. Than u just roll attack speed on it with alt orbs -> regal+anul (so that the magic bow becomes rare with only the fractured +2 and attack speed). Than you can either craft multimod + cannot roll attack mods and slam it, than "remove crafted mods" and multimod it again for fire as extra chaos and fire dot multi OR you can just put "cannot roll attack mods" onto it and use beastcraft suffix-to-prefix for a 50/50 chance of it removing the attack speed or "cannot roll attack mods" (so you can save on the first multimod but you'll have to roll alt orbs again if you miss) and multimod it after. EDIT: make sure you scour both bows before you recombinate for better odds of getting the +2 fractured. Also if you guys want a total GG bow with an empower setup. You can can recombinate a bow with "damage over time multi" fractured (they are 100c-2ex right now) with the porcupine bow. Than you roll the attack speed onto it with regal+scour -> cannot roll attack mods and slam for +1 gems -> multimod it with "+2 socketed support gems" and fire as extra chaos. You can drop "ignite prolif" gem for "fan the flames" from the medium fire cluster and put an empower there. EA can reach lvl31 on that bow with a +2 ammy, lvl5 woke burning damage and lvl4 empower and all the other supports will gain 2 levels on that setup as well.

your pob got endgame version of items ? I am not sure for which item i should aim, great gear from leveling pob or this one

how are you handling divine blessing? is it Hit Wrath and then Flask? or is there another way ?

i noticed on pob when changing bows add cold dame and lightning dame give me a lot of damage, is that worth it?

Is this build uber bosses viable if you push it ? I hit a wall with uber shaper (got +3 bow, Polaroic, unnatural instinct and clusters)

Why add deadly ailments if it lowers the explosion damage significantly? idk if my POB is broken but the explosion damage gets so much lower once you add it

In the pob I see you dont have widespread destruction allocated... is there something im missing (kind of a noob) or can we get away with getting a cheaper cluster that only has prismatic heart and smoking remains?

What I personally did for my bow was spam Deafening Essence of Zeal until I hit +2 and then I annuled until i got the Attack speed and +2 left, then I crafted the multimod + a Cannot Roll Attack Mods (just to fill out the suffixes) with a slam to get the +1 to socketed gems, remove the crafted mods and put in the new multimod with your selected mods. Deafening Essence of Zeal was also a lot cheaper in bulk than Dread.

Why would you craft fire dot multi over minion attack speed? Those extra fusings are worth more no?

How do we know how much added cold or lightning damage do we need overall on gear? l

is there a reason you dont take "forces of nature" node above the rest, if you take the thread of hope ring? Does it not affect EA ballistas?

Does adding arcane surge to flame dash provide any extra damage on the explosion and burning?

Bow fire a additional arrow is a good affix to this bow too?

Im playing bane and thinking about changing to EA Totem, this build is capable of doing atleast 24 challenges from this league? Thats me goal right now

What are you considering for your mappers and bossers? I'm thinking tornado shot for mapping, and arakaali's fang for bossing (respeccing this into it).

Question, Bow with +3 gems, 19 atack speed and 2 crafted mods for 20% fire damage over time multiplier + 16% fire damage as extra chaos damage good for this build?

@palsteron what if i hit +2, +1 and tier 1 chaos dmg prefixes? My question is how tier 1 chaos affects build?

Do these apply to 3.20 pob?

Your guide is excellent and the build is fun (once you understand all the stuff that goes with it) but i gotta say that i really really miss the simpler totem builds from previous patches like the godly freezing pulse totems or forbidden rite totems, those were more straightforward. I miss those because this is too much buttons to press, too much delayed damage and also visual chaos.

This crafting guide also works for Toxic Rain bow's?

I used a weapon recombinator on 2 thicket bows. One with +2 and fire damage one with +1 and lightning damage. End Result: +3 with lightning damage :) Also thanks for the update!

Btw the example bow you had in craftofexile will not hit a t2 cold flat due to the item level, just sayin

guys, how can i finish +3 bow with 1 bad prefix and suffix ? keep prefixes and then multimod for attack speed and fire dot multi ?

You said in your guide that flat elemental damage on bow does nothing for us, but now you say it's a lot of damage if we get a high tier flat elemental damage, rivalizing even with fire dor multi. So confusing.

It's weird that i never get Elemental Overload triggered even i got some crit.

or be like me and randomly do a lvl 59 logbook where you get a 1 to all socketed skill FRACTURED thicket bow.... i was like wtf are you serious right now? I have since slammed it with the essence to get +3
