We’ve been enjoying your fun-loving videos for months and had to tell you what a great job you do. You get us laughing out loud every time! You’re the COAT! Positively the Cutest Of All Time! ☮️🙂❤️❤️❤️🙂☮️
I have to tell you.. the pasta primavera was soooo good. I added a half a jar of roasted red peppers to the cheese mix in the blender and it was the bomb. LOL. I'm new to plant based eating and enjoying creating simple yet tasty dinners. I just finished a huge portion of it. Thanks for the videos. I'm learning a lot from you both. Next is the Gnocchi and roasted veggies.
6:25 This recipe was absolutely what got me click on the video even quicker! When I saw the gnocchi in the thumbnail I knew I was going to love it! And honestly, the idea of roasting these instead of boiling is kind of genius! The veg bakes at the same time as the gnocchi, less dirty dishes and the pastabilities are indeed endless! Plus, I agree that the gnocchi texture is just perfection!
I have been married for 43 years. But when I see the two of you I feel like I still have relationship goals to strive for! Love watching your channel and the two of you! ❤️
I just always love when my notification says you guys have a new post You look like good people and have given me so much inspiration. I like every post you have done. Much thanks! - a vegan in Iowa
Yes!!! Rice is life!!! Rice, pasta, and potatoes...in that order😁 Rice is always a given each day, but after watching this video, pasta is going to more of a regular!! Those recipes look amazing!!!
I can't remember if it was this video or another. I've had you on constant play today. Lol You had mentioned rice. I would love to see a video of you making rice dishes like this. You should make some recipes with Heritage Select. They have some rice mixes with orzo that are sooo good. Anyway, just a recipe idea or suggestion. :) Love you guys!!
Great video and recipes easy and pasta recipes are awesome 👌 Love 🥰 your video's and love 💕❤ Chris & Jasmine more each time they post a video. It's great that you're using plant foods you have either grown yourselves or a friend has shared from their garden because homegrown plant foods taste better.👍 The Garlic and Herb pasta recipe is my favorite recipe that I could never get sick of.
Great recipes, thanks so much for making and sharing this video and the recipes. Will make the first dish tomorrow! Gnocchi can actually be made with potatoes, yams, sweet potato or even pumpkin which is my favorite!
11:22 I had NO IDEA pasa primavera has butter and a creamy sauce in it! I always associated it with a tomato sauce but it seems I was absolutely wrong - I think I simply haven't ever reflected on this and I don't eat pasta at restaurants often enough :D Will definitely be making this one!
0:50 To me, pasta will unfortunately always come first because I just didn't grow up eating much rice (different culture) while all the dumplings, pastas, noodles were totally a stable :D You know, everyone has those sentimental dishes or ingredients! I was super excited to see you upload and I am very glad you enjoyed making this video too! I bet you must have been really happy about having all these comforting dishes on hand! . Anyways, thank you guys for always creating simple, accessible and nourishing recipe ideas for us! Satay safe and have a lovely week ahead!
Your pasta Primavera recipe is amazing! It is a go to for me whenever asparagus is in season! Also 100% agree peas are underrated! I feel like they get a bad wrap because people have eaten canned peas and assume they are all mushy! Trader Joes english fresh peas 🤤 I cannot not, not grab them anytime i see them
All of the recipes look so good! I can’t wait to try them out! 😋 And Jasmine, I am loving your long hair! Are you taking any supplements for hair currently?
Was smiling the whole time of how chill and happy you both looked. And on top of that, those recipes look amazing! Non-dairy cheeses and things like nutritional yeasts are so pricey where I live, so figuring out alternatives is a constant challenge.
Make your own vegan cheeses! It takes a little while to find the right recipes and get them just right but definitely worth it. Also, Chef Jana has a RU-vid video for her nutritional yeast alternative recipe.
Your version of the 1st dish would be called "spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino" in Italy, but PLEASE add the fresh herbs after the pasta as the hot oil can burn them and make them taste bitter!
Omg these look BOMB wow Complete side note: is there anyway we can get less eating sounds?? It triggers my misophonia but I love watching your content! I usually have to skip through it LMAO. Totally get it if you don't cut them out but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask!
Agree, it would be nice if they didn't wear the mics while they're eating. I had to skip past a few parts. I would think the camera has a mic that could still pick up what they're saying.
How can I make these without oil or butter. I was thinking ....use vegan chicken stock...but we all know that ...that would effect the taste that the oil or butter gives lol lol ...so any ideas?
maybe sweat the veggies on a lower heat until they give off some moisture, then turn up the heat and grill them in their own juices? if some yummy bits stick to the pan , it will probably deglaze as soon as you add the pasta and rest of the sauce, then the roasty flavors will become a part of the sauce 💛 hope this helps x
Hahah, no it's the other way round- PPR /pasta, potatoes, rice/... now this is a great vid, thank you! Except for the commercial 'cheese' and 'butter' , of course, which are usually made with supercheap unhealthy ingredients that all WFPB doctors tell us to avoid at all cost- you have to admit that, right?...The vegan food industry has to change its ways for the better and that is all there is to it!!! And, by the way, you are a great couple, highly inspirational!
So the pasta name has always been "aglio, olio e peperoncino" for me. And you put red pepper flakes in there, so you have the peperoncino thing down ;)
