I think competition is good. While none of these will *dethrone* any of HoYo's games, they could definitely dent them a little bit. Which Gacha game are YOU most interested in?
Definitely Promilia, Enfield, and Duet Night. Im a big fan of Pokemon and monster collection game in general, also some Stardew Valley so Promilia sounds like a perfect casual game for me. Plus the waifus of course. Endfield is another one i anticipate because of the unique base building system which makes the game sounds kinda like Age of Empires but Anime. As for Duet Night Abyss, i mean cmon, its Warframe but anime
Azur Promilia, here's to hoping for the Gacha system and rates are the same as Azur Lane and it will be crazy, not just for Hoyo but other Gacha companies as well... Well it is highly unlikely but I have a feeling that the Gacha system is going to be different somehow
bilibili search BV1Vr421w74U ,the revenue data just come out a few hours ago. wuthering waves is dead dead....data show clearly it will drop to ToF level revenue.
When Wuwa is moved to Console release that will make Hoyo start to possible worry and we could hopefully see some major changes across all Gacha style games going forward.
Genshin peeps are freaking out because their favorite game might get overthrown, like WtF is there to worried about, the game is still strong and still attracting new players
Tbh, WuWa did such a good job despite the early problems(for some players) at launch, that if any game that tries to enter the same genre, WuWa should be the standard now anything less(basically Genshin) is an ez skip. Promilia looks like they won't disappoint,Mugen no new updates yet? might as well forget about it now which is sad.
For real, Genshin looks like some old game now, in comparison to WuWa. Plus WuWa has better gacha, is more generous and respects players more, so LOL. Hoyo definitely needs to come off their high horse.
even unending dawn will be an serious competitor for genshin, maybe as good as Wuwa, who knows maybe a bit less or better than Wuwa, another gacha i would like but since a while no news , is Dragon Sword, vibrant color beautyful designed Openworld too
@@darkcastle85 honestly i don't know , but what is a game without at least customizing features if no summon system is availabe ? i guess Unending dawn will come up with one or the other, otherwise it could look too limited and making bad impression
@@pontoancora If they had to change their release date to a week or two before ZZZ launches then that's what we call a marketing strat. Now if HOYO has the balls to challenge WW then they will also have change their launch date but I doubt they'll do so 😂
I will just whaling for both... just got Yinlin and weapon and now i'm waiting for my personal number one girly Firefly. Have already saved enough for at least E2 and who knows... maybe she will be my first Gacha character who i will go all out for. The main problem is that i also want Jinshi and Changli too... xD
Same. The number 1 reason WuWa is my main game now & I mainly play Jiyan. 2nd team will be a Calcharo one & 3rd team will be Jinhsi, 'cause let's admit, dragons are freaking cool. Reason I pulled Jiyan. And I can't wait for Geshu Lin. My most wanted, as of now, looks like he might be Havoc type. I also hope that Project Mugen is good too. I'm aiming that game to be my 2nd game to play alongside WuWa. CZN also looks promising but not much revealed yet.
To be honest as long as star rail keeps up what they’ve been doing not much to worry about there for now. but other hoyo games definitely have something to be worried aka genshin and zzz
Even though the games are being seen by majority ppl just a competition for most ppl i kinda feel bad for the new games who shut down or just dont profit much coz of being constantly compared to existing other companies...:')
With how braindead the Hoyoverse loyalists are, there will be no dethroning Hoyo in the near future. However, other games that can sway any players to their game instead of playing a Hoyoverse game, resulting in Hoyoverse improving the quality of their games, is always welcome.
i want another wuwa release. the genshin haters having melt down due to all the issues and the genshin defenders likewise having a melt down when the game didnt die. omg it had to be some of tge most entertaining content i have seen in a while
Starwill really look interesting to me, i wanna see what it does Nemonic looks ok as well, but i can't say i'm interested at all in the last one lol i'll be trying a lot of games that you shared with us, including ZZZ, DuetNightAbyss, Unending Dawn, Endfield, Nornium, WangYua etc i was also interested in ring of fire Prometheus but haven't heard anything about that one for ages lmao wonder if they canceled it in the future i see myself sticking with Wuwa, Reverse99, HSR, AzurLane, AzurPromilia, Mugen, Arknights and Blue archive ... and maybe a casual farming game like the new Hoyo game could be fun too
Yup, competition is good for consumers! I'm really enjoying WuWa, but I'm also really looking forward to ZZZ (why is The First Descendant launching 2 days before that, and Once Human the following week? Where will I find the time?!). The gacha-warriors are as silly as the console-warriors! They need to get it drilled into their thick skulls that the best case scenario, for all of us, is to have these gacha games fighting over the contents of our wallets.
Nemonic: White Shadow probably has the best chance in my opinion to compete with Wuthering Waves and Genshin Impact. The other two games I would say it’s 50-50 based on my own experience playing games that are similar to them. The player retention didn’t last very long and we had multiple server mergers trying to compensate for players not really coming back and it didn’t end up working out. Starwill and Tribe Nine seem like they might be very monetization focussed in comparison given the fact their type of gacha falls into the monetization category especially on the heavier side of Monetization. Again from my experience playing many Gacha games that’s how it’s been. Now obviously I’m just a gamer. They’re always are gonna be a few games. I’ve never got to play. So there might be a few that weren’t like that. But that could also be based on perception, especially if you got really lucky in those games. They might not felt very monetization focussed because you were lucky getting the new characters and the best equipment to make them stronger where, even if you were took a break when you came back, you weren’t really missing out cause your team was already cracked (speaking from a F2P god experience that only happened to me once). Here’s my thoughts on Nemonic, it looks cool. I’m interested. I think the major thing that will separate Nemonic white shadow from the other two is the fact that, they may be following Genshin and Wuwa’s example. Being open world and having anime style characters. As they seem to be competing with them. But at the same time playing devils advocate. We don’t know if this new open world might destroy WuWa in the process rather than create competition for Genshin. Or if it can even stand on its own feet. As the new kiddo’s say, let me cook I’ll explain. Obviously in order for Genshin to make the improvements we know it needs. It needs competition so HoYoverse implements them. But at the same time by having competition it also affects other games that are competing with Genshin. So rather than creating competition for Genshin, these new games could end up destroying each other. Which means Nemonic white shadow COULD cancel out Wuthering Waves. And if both these games fail. It will allow Hoyerverse to still do what they do. And the game will never improve or at the very least it will only improve during the finale or over time at a snails pace. Having said that, yes we should look at it as a blessing there’s new games. But let’s not assume they can compete with Genshin. Wuwa is an exception because they were making changes that we were asking for in Genshin. And of course, Wuthering Waves have been listening to our feedback and as a result there being generous because of the issues so to an extent that definitely helped Wuthering Waves. The problem is for Kuro Games, if they can’t nail Wuwa 1.1 then the game might not necessarily be cooked, but it doesn’t look good. Like I said, with Nemonic white shadow being similar to weathering waves and Genshin impact. It has a better chance at competing. But how much so we’ll have to wait for official release. As it’s possible, it could fall flat on it face. Or end up taking the competition down with it for Genshin to break free and survive again as the top game on the throne. Only being outclassed by its own game star rail.
genshin kids should realize that competition will only make their game better it means that the devs will try harder to make more content and release more characters cause as a genshin fan i feel like they stopped caring when they released HSR it seems to be their new fav child at HOYO
as a Genshin Players, i Welcome Competition. this just means Hoyo will have to step up from what they are now, mostly prolly better gacha systems? cuz they already nail gameplay and story.
you could say genshin getting buff with covid but i could say any game / anime now getting buff with FOMO peoples , its already proven at hsr getting more income despite its not fresh or set new standard at mobile game like genshin did
Doesn't have to be as... polished. It just has to be fun. Genshin is a boring as fuq game and I'm sure it'll retain it's tumblr lgbtqia2aa+ community but hopefully that'll be all.
Nemonic White Shadow was previously referred to as Project NB. The video from their official channel is actually unlisted fortunately other people already uploaded the video on RU-vid. Seeing that trailer again I know for a fact Stix made a video about it before. I cannot find it. I'm pretty sure we were all mostly roasting the game at the time. It seems like ever since then they took an entirely different direction in terms of presentation.
hoyoverse had 4 years to course correct and promote more goodwill in their community, they had so much time to change they refused, i don't feel bad for them losing market share they completely squandered their playerbase and deserve this.
I mean in the sales part they won't be beaten YET, BECAUSE they have Genshin, HSR and Hi3rd making their money for them combining those sales together would give them like 100 million per month and if Genshin and HSR release peaked characters those games alone could generate 200 million or more. But Yeah I see the Genshin devs specifcally pooping their pants right now, but I don't really see the entire Hoyo company going up on flames yet. HSR is the top turned based game ever since it's release and it won't be dethroned yet judging by the current sales charts. I think what Hoyo is trying to do right now is separate themselves from competions by bringing out new games from each game genre. Genshin for open world, Hi3rd and ZZZ for AA games, HSR for turn based, you get idea.
Welp as a mainly HSR fan im chilling well i even play Wuwa so i see this as a win personally the more competition Hoyo gets the harder they work to make their games better.
TRIBE NINE is what I definitely most looking forward to. I love Danganronpa and its art style, that alone really makes me interested and rooting for this game
While this is expected. Do we know if half of those games mentioned are coming to Global. As for Project Mugen, it is hard to really say with that game as we barely got much info about it or what going on with it development. Depending on a game's release another game might come out before then which kills the hype of those games mentioned. I usually prefer to wait for a game to release a beta test where we can see actual gameplay and systems in place to see if the game will be decent or not. The game can also do great overseas but in terms of the global audience it could do just as well or it could do terrible. As global audience tends to have different tastes in what they like in a game. If these games don't come to global then that would be a shame as dont feel like dealing with going through tons of work around just to register an account in another region.
In sales they're pretty unbeatable as of right now, I mean combining the sales of Genshin, HSR and Hi3rd then ZZZ would probably make them like 200m or even higher per year depending on the characters they released
Another good gacha I'm looking forward to is Sword of Convallaria. I played the Chinese version (I think) last year. Pixel style tactic game. It will be out globally this if things are well. Definitely a nice break from the open world 3d gachas
Wuwa is way more important in this matter than anything, what they have done is not killing genshin, but they showed MiHoYo can bleed, and when you bleed, those sharks will come. There will be WAY MORE companies will now trying to push their project that we don't even know it exist just because they see that Genshin cannot monopolize that field in the market. They will think to themself, what about their other titles ?
@@pontoancora You won't get your 3 pulls by being a mihoyo d*ckrider 😂 just pick your mint and do you dailies instead of defending a multi billion company that doesn't care about you, bud. Better yet, go get a job so you can purchase a battle pass.
I think i will give tribe nine a try, it look fun and im suck on those artstyle also pretty unique overworld exploration and persona style menu? Sign me in
I quit Genshit during the 1st anniversary. No regrets. Knew that the game would never improve. Pre-registered for WuWa & have been enjoying it on a daily basis. Hit UL 42 today & there's still so much to do :D Can't wait for 1.1.
Hoyo peeps are really freaking out and pooping their pants as if Hoyo will soon crumbling down, like WtF, don't they realize that Hoyo is still the largest money making gacha company and won't be beaten in terms of sales? Combining HSR's and Genshin's sales alone will dominates the entire gacha sales of the other gaming gacha companies combined. Like guys stop freaking out, Hoyo isn't going anywhere, competiton is good for Hoyo themselves, that way they can make their future games even better. CHILL THE F OUT.
Bro 2 and 3 game are DOA what are those graphics in this day and age... the first game does look interesting and beeing Korean it's not gona be ultra censored like chinese gachas.
*Disclaimer* I will be making comparisons based solely on imagery alone, characters could be completely different. I am not shitting on the game, just saying that theres some similar appearances here and there for Nemonic:White Shadow. No, I DO NOT HAVE GENSHIN BRAINROT. 3:00 MC looks like male rover of wuwa in tof outfit 3:07 wolf girl from azur promilia or am i tripping 3:32 is that eula's ult? 3:40 is that jing yuan's ult? (Build up and flow of action is very similar)
1) Generic Black Hair MC. Looks like a worse male Rover if anything 2)No idea 3)Similar face closeup, but Eula is hardly the first one to use it. 4) Same as above. If anything it feels more like Gilgamesh Gate of Babylon.
I hope more legitimate competition can arrive so that some can knock Hoyo off their high horse. They've been comfy, complacent and lazy for far too long.
Japanese gacha games, weirdly enough you don't see that many of those.. and few popular ones didn't live that long in the west sadly. Still recovering from the Madoka and Priconne tragedies, Tribe Nine looks cool but i'm not a fan of pixelated graphic.
Kodaka Kazutaka (the creator of Danganronpa) actually has nothing to do with Tribe Nine's scenario. His company (Too Kyo Games) are only responsible for the setting and the visuals. But characters were indeed designed by Komatsuzaki Rui, the same guy who worked on Danganronpa.
I don't like team building game and it's fun soloing in wuwa for now(except Prism mobs).. unless they also copy GI annoying difficulty such as weird shielded enemies, millions HP and I-frame animation atk.
That's the point. There's a meaning behind me using it - it offended someone so strongly that they spent several months commenting on dozens of my videos every single day that they hate me, hate my dance, and they would continue doing it until I stop.
I can already tell which one of these will be decent (Tribe Nine), and which will be trash and straight to end of service (the other two). My statement is factual btw.
Wouldn't all gachas, and not only hoyo's be in trouble? :P Waiting for a good turned base that can compete with hsr, even if hsr is the goat of gachas atm.
I like that games aren't trying to be super realistic anymore, they're pretty confortable with today's technology so now is a matter of who does it better with art direction, with more style and cooler combat/characters
@@f.b.l.9813 Well then, let me rephrase it, I'm glad more devs are picking this style, it works really well but even anime style used to be really bad, super stiff (faces used to be a png and the eyes had no depth) plastic reflections and lighting and it didn't fit with the rest of the environment's textures
I highly doubt Hoyo has any reason to worry. Firefly banner alone will make more than the top gacha games combined. Genshin has a new area released soon. Wuwa has a long way to go because, at the moment, it's rather lacking. There's no competition, just artificial competition created by content creators. 😊
There is competition of some form due to the games literally being the same genre and having very similar target audiences.Thats the definition of competition. Not that it's a bad thing.I don't see why people take it so seriously
@@ardee9337 i don't think op realizes that if Two or more products are in the same category or genre and have a similar target audience, they're considered competition.Plus wuwa seems to be shaping up to he actually good. Not saying it'll completely cause genshin to become irrelevant, but it'll provide good competition.Planning on playing wuwa together with her,and maybe zzz when it comes out, you?
The first 2 commenters are definitely not normal in the head and instead try to provoke me. Wuwa is very welcome to prove me wrong. But there were attempts like it before. I'm not shilling about Hoyo games, I just know they're at the moment unbeatable and unfazed.
@@jinnykim8700 I ain't trying to provoke anyone.Im saying wuwa might one day shape up to provide good competition for hoyo. But since they're targeting the same niche market in the same genre, technically they're competition.Tho wuwa still has a long way to go
Hoyo in trouble yeah right they make what 70 Millions (just a guess) across all theyr gachas in a month. Besides competition is good without it the market is just stale without any improvement.
i don't know how did you manage to attract many hoyo haters to your channel but thank you mr stix , seeing them seething and whining in the comments its always such a joy.
Hyping other game will compete hoyo games "theese game will made hoyo panicked", later its reveal their released revenue very low than early revenue hoyo games " guys.. please don't disrespect the achievement of these game" lmao 🤣🤣🤣 even WW at CN losing from non-anime bilibili games what a bunch of clowns
The first 1 and the last ones were Japanese games, and the 2nd was Chinese. No Korean games. I like the first one more. The second one looks more like one of those thirst trap games with barely any content. As for the last one, it looks fine.
@@Stixxy oh. I saw the Japanese kana and kanji characters in the subtitles, and the voice overs in Japanese, so thought it was made by a Japanese company. I don’t really keep up with Asian companies.
@@Stixxy fair but i doubt hoyo or kuro need to worry about it. The only game i can think of that can compete with genshin and wuwa is azur promilia at the very least.
