My man really got right to the point of the video, marked it on the scroll tab, gave the locations. Finally someone who doesn’t spend 10 minutes plugging themselves
he killed me the first time. I was sure it was a one time rare event and that knife was a missable item. As pointed out in the comments replies from many people,it isn't missable. So I went back, hogtied him and fed him to the gators lmao😅
It's all about that Deadeye vision no? ( I was an old school gamer in the 90s, played in Street Fighter / Mortal Kombat competitions before they were on home consoles Etc) but I got a good deal on a PS4 about 6 months ago and started messing around again. Not so much online games but just the story mode.
Usually the objects you can interact with are highlighted by the EAGLE EYE feature, even in the darkness. The other part is exploring the map to an insane level (for instance, if you're looking for cigarette cards).
I hardly found anything on my first playthrough. I got it 6 months ago and am in the epilogue. I started a new seperate game to try for 100% in the coming years. Deadeye doesn’t work for the writings either. The first fella who found all of this stuff had to have put in an insane amount of time playing this gAme to get 100% without the cheat tutorials.
@@oldironsides4107 Eagle Eye works on: - Dream Catchers - Rock Carvings - Dinosaur Bones - Cigarette Cards - Consumable Items - Fishes underwater (just when you already got your fishing rod equipped) - Animals (including birds) - Herbs - Furniture you can interact with - Gun cases The rest is, as I said, exploring the map to an insane level. On my first playthrough I also found nothing, cause I had the "Assassin's Creed" approach, that is, jumping from mission to mission without exploring anything. OF COURSE there are items that make you think WTF these devs where thinking about when they put it here, like the ammolite gem that can be found on the cliff of a mountain in Ambarino in a bird's nest.
I immediately tie him up as he charges at me. Then I carry him around town to see the people’s reactions to an actual Nosferatu in front of their very own eyes. Funny enough, sunlight doesn’t harm him and if you leave him tied up anywhere but on the back of your horse, he’ll eventually break free and can still one shot kill you. So be careful leaving him anywhere tied up for more than 20 seconds. So far on different occasions I’ve fed him to alligators, fed his carcass to pigs, brought him to the police/sheriffs department, had him with me when I ran into the Night Folk and the Feral Man, brought him with me to see Hamish, had him watch the UFO with me, and even fed him to the Bull Gator. All sorts of scenarios. If you untie him or he breaks free, eventually he’ll tire of chasing you and will just walk away and walk among the other NPC’s. In fact he’ll actually walk away from you if you chase him.
Excellent walkthrough! It's just long enough to show everything without dragging things on unnecessarily. I wouldn't say this dagger is better than a gold bar, but it's still pretty neat. Thanks to Pearson's stew, I had a gold core and barely just managed to survive the vampire's attack, then grabbed him by the neck and beat him to death. A fitting end, if I may say so myself.
He's dangerous even disarmed. For one, he's one of the tougher fistfighters I encountered, and for another, he will try to pick up the knife and stab again if it's nearby. However, in a few of my tests, he also turned and ran during the fistfight [??]
@@realQuestion Just in case you're interested in expanding your vocabulary with an even more apt word; *_Pugilist_* is an appropriate word for those who compete and combat by fisticuffs. 😊
@@HM2SGT I doubt the vampire competes in sanctioned boxing, and the hand-to-hand in RDR2 incorporates chokes, slams and other moves not permitted in boxing-not to mention the fact that he only does this if you actively keep him in it instead of letting him pick up his weapon. So I can't say that word is particularly apt, except in that he does not go directly for the fangs 🧛🏻♂
You can keep him alive and hog tie him and we will work his way free and chase you. Once he starts chasing you keep your distance but don't out run him. He will eventually turn into a npc and start walking around town and after a while will lean up against a wall and start smoking his pipe. I let him live and kept his dagger
It was easy to kill a vampire! The game is amazing, I've finished it twice and I'm already looking forward to the next walkthrough, discovering totally new things!
you should be embarrsed...... Kenshi is best game. rd2 is shit. just EA microtransaction shit hole game. excels at nothing but taking time and money from people.
When I first played this part, he ran toward me and when I pulled the trigger, he was so close that Arthur pistol whipped him with the sawed off shotgun. Dude slammed into the left wall head first and then Arthur blew off his head.
I feel like I'm the only one who tried fist fighting him. It's really interesting, you can knock him out but you keep losing health while you're fighting him even if he's not touching you, by the end I noticed I was almost dead
Yup been there …. Good luck collecting the cigarette packs. Which is the toughest thing to complete on RDR2. On another note this game is this best game ever made and it’s heartbreaking on how they just abandoned this true classic.
Once you get a bunch of money, (I recommend running thru the "landmarks of riches" treasure maps asap) you can just go buy the premium cigs from a store.(buying directly from the shelf is quicker than the catalog) It may take a lil while and a decent amount of money but it's a lot easier than finding em out and about.
@@kickerofelves85 the fact that in the epilogue i up and bought 99 alltoghether and got MAYBE two duplicates is fucking scary. Just exactly how many cards are there
@@Pyan3z I think there are 12 sets to complete with 12 cards in each set so 144 cards in total. Usually by the time I have all the sets I'll have a bunch of doubles, triples or more of some cards.
Exactly. That's the best occasion to get perfect rat pelts in the game. Actually, you must return to that saloon to kill more rats later, so have lots of small game arrows available when in Saint Denis.
I just carried him around and threw him at people. I guess dead vampires are the same as dead humans. I went to Rhodes and threw him at the sheriff and left. I didint realize until later, you use the dpad to change knives and I thought I lost the dagger forever
I love the vampire he's hilarious, kinda reminds me of the devil in the cave..(I took Mr Vamp to see Mr Devil). It's funny if you don't kill him, but instead hogtie him and take him around Saint Denis on the back of your horse in the daytime 'cos the npc's comments and reactions are class😭😆😅😆😭 he eventually dies if he's on your horse for too long though. Also, good tip is to turn off auto save and do a manual save just before you go to his spawn point at 12-1am 'cos one hit from him if you're not quick enough and your dead...if he kills you just reload the save and go back to him. And it's also great fun to do the thing I described above all over rdr2's map with him too. Happy gaming Cowboys & Cowgirls!!
I followed all the steps ... I waited at across the street outside the alley. Having my eyes on the pocket watch, entered the alley as soon it passed midnight. No one was in there 🙁
12am about to go to the spot I’m marking it on my map I get out of the menu too fast I hit circle outside of the menu and punch an old lady in the face and had the whole of Saint Denis after me
I got it on the first try, lol but he almost got me. I was so excited I forgot which button was to shoot. LMAO!!! Thanks for the walkthrough. How do you guys fine these things?
Damn. I could never get him to show up. I tried on and off this week and he was never there. Other videos said at night or past midnight and if he doesn’t show up try the next night. Nobody said 12-1 Thank you!
Wait I found him without looking for any of these clues! I actually completely forgot that I even ran into this guy, now playing as John I hear some Npcs talking about vampires and now I remember why 😅
All the people in the comments acting like this is their first RU-vid video lol videos about the vampire have been on RU-vid since the release. Where yall been at lmfao 😂
Just so you know if u die u can still get thr knife when u respond go to the fence you can buy it there If u can't find your knife in the weapon wheel go to the knifes and press right on D-pod untill u see it
I’d pay another 60-70$ if they added Mexico and new story for John after killing Micah or even undead nightmare 2 but even if it isn’t from Mexico they could make it from somewhere here in America and still would be amazing.
so many people talking about how they died to the vampire or had a heroic struggle with him... i invited my dad to watch me fight him and did a quick-draw and put one in his heart, resulting in the dagger being collectible in about 3 seconds (neither of us were expecting such an anticlimactic end). kinda wishing i thought to just punch or even hogtie him first, i wanna feed someone to the gators :(
@@joemac3118 As someone who has also been playing since day one you can never have too much money, especially as Arthur because I prefer to play as him so I don't get the blackwater money
I like to lasso him and parade him around every town, going and coming as I please.. just don’t go to Blackwater if you do it as Arthur.. it still won’t end well
He killed me when I tried to fist fight him, I’ve been back a couple of times at 12:00am but he’s not there anymore. Do I have to revisit all the clues again to get him back ?
The thing is that the Bram Stoker's "Dracula" novel was originally released in 1897. Only 2 years after, in 1899, it was released in USA. I highly doubt that Arthur (who can also meet the "Vampire of Saint Denis" in 1899) would happen to know the book and the characters, as he is never seen reading any books. Therefore is highly doubtful he'd know the word "vampire" and the meaning of it. John in 1907 - maybe. But rather not, knowing he's half-illiterate (he described himself this way RDR1)
@@jnitz1 not really, because vampires are the European thing. And neither John nor Arthur weren't devoted book lovers. If you can name few world-known novels about the vampires that were released before Bram Stoker's "Dracula", that would also be popular in the Wild West in 19 hundreds, now is your chance to shine.
@@pawekarkosa3033 Much of American folklore has European roots. In the 18th and 19th centuries people blamed outbreaks of consumption on vampires. There was even a famous vampire panic in New England. Arthur and John would have known what vampires were.
By th comments I got lucky. I stopped the video so I could watch the interaction and get my natural reaction to it or as close as possible without it being an accident. As soon as he stood up after I called him dumb I stick-flicked his head with the ol m1899 and he folded like a towel ontop of his ultimate victim. Might throw him in with the cholera dead in new Austin. Next play through I gotta interact with him a little.
3 minute struggle? You conveniently cut to each location of the writing on walls; then the player has to wait till 12am to kill the Vampire to get his dagger. So the 3 min part is a misnomer.
Bro it's only for next Gen consoles I tried getting the vamp knife on PS4 he never showed up now that I have the PS5 I killed him soon as he tried to shank me 😂😂😂😂 the statue code for the 3 gold bars is 1 5 3 6 the one with a missing arm is 6
