I feel you 100%. I would never ever want any type of rasp on my car. For the 86, that means avoiding all Equal Length headers right? MY buddy had his supercharged with a full straight pipe and EL headers and it sounded horrible. He would take off in 2nd gear because it was just too loud and raspy. Seems like the perfect exhaust tone would be Unequal Length with either one resonator or with one cat or with one muffler for me. Don't like how loud the straight piped 86 are, I think mainly because of how slow. What exhaust setup you went with?

@@imdatnigga9715 that all made no sense... most of the drone is gonna be eliminated by resonators and mufflers, the el and uel doesn’t make a difference in those terms, uel just in theory can allow for more power through a tune, add a resonator

California Assembly Bill was passed in January 1st 2019 containing the new California exhaust requirements so it’s pretty new...? I even see road signs now around Cali saying they will ticket loud exhausts no exceptions. They starting enforcing it because the bill was passed foo

SuperDan also if you get wheels like 18x8.5 or higher, you need to have coilovers or you will mess up the tires and the rims. idk about 17” wheels with stock struts

Because that would just make a crazy slow car, just a pretty slow car. Not really worth getting a turbo for a 86 to make it fast when you can get a nearly stock car that makes almost the same power. Could save so much money by getting a faster car and boosting it. Seems like the only reason to boost a 86 is if you really love every single thing about the car and don't want to sell it, or if you cant sell it.

Baesic Vlogs depends on how much boost you run. I daily mine at 8 but can set it up to 13.8. Anymore and you’ll probably need forged internals and a better transmission. Haven’t had any problems and it’s definitely worth it

Baesic Vlogs Had it dynod on two different brands and got 331 and 360whp. That’s with a tune and e85. I tend to drive not so conservatively and go canyon carving once in a while

Boosted cars automatically increase 6.5-12k more then na cars just for the fact it cost more to build.

@@jdm132 they should. They do. Its just aftermarket. Cant sit on a dozen boosted cars that 40+k just sittin around waitin for the right guy. Loose out on to much money on the cars you could easily flip. Thats extra space wasted time cleaning them off. Moving them around. I work at a subi dealership. Every 1 thinks we got 9-15 stis n wrxs on lot. No thats not the case at all. 2 or 3 at a time. I have a boosted brz n a 2011 sti hatch. All about jdm. But not every 1 like us. We a special breed. Alot claim to be but 2 mins talkin to them n you already know. Frs should be a special edition either tobro or supercharger. N the limited special should be procharged. Along with the brz. But theres plenty of aftermarket support for the frs. Wanna go fast n make cool wistle n woosh sounds as you drive around. Spend the extra money like the rest of us. Our cars arnt cheap by no means. Built not bought. #dailydrivin.
