This might be weird but I'm going through a depression, I have a lot of anxiety and watching these videos are actually one of the only things that decrease my anxiety. The relief you bring to these girls is somehow really therapeutic to me. Thank you.
It's not weird, sweets. I get it. I'm on multiple meds myself, and sometimes the depression and anxiety still break through to the surface. I understand the comfort from videos like these. All the best. ❤️
My 3 year old daughter was extremely excited about the blue wrap. She loves the purple wrap you've used before too as it's her favourite colour. She loves watching your videos and it's now a nightly ritual for her and I to watch these before bedtime. So thank you for doing a great job helping cows walk and my kiddo sleep. 👍
@@emilinebelle7811 not in the least. I started shoeing horse with my daddy in kindergarten. I still have all his tools.. Handling a large animal creates confidence n controlled demeanor. Just lil FYI lol.

I've sung his praises before but another thing I love about Nate is the simplicity of his vids. No huge intro or outro, just usually some nice cows being cows b-roll and then right into gear.

Thanks for the video, Nate. I do tend to prefer videos on the longer side, so I think this is a good style to pursue and experiment with. Maybe I'm just weird, but I'd watch videos from you that are 15 minutes long or more. Food for thought!

I wish I had a cow. I've been watching these videos for a year. They make me want a cow, and a barn beside a nice small house on a quiet piece of land. I grew up going to my grandfather's house in the country each summer. He retired a fisherman. I know I can do it and not be a weird city person.
@@alexmcd378 there are mini cows! mini jerseys for milk and dexters for meat. zebu cattle are also quite small. the small cows tend to be quite expensive though.

Loved the blue wrap! I’ve been watching your videos for about a year now, but decided to backtrack in on some of your older videos. I loved when you used purple wraps in some of them, then you said you hated purple, but that’s all you could get at the time. I was so heartbroken, I wasn’t sure if I could watch your videos anymore! (Purple is my favourite colour) 😂😂
I don't know why, but RU-vid recommended me this channel last week and I've nailed about 20 videos already! I have no history in farming yet found it very entertaining and informative to watch. Great stuff.

I love to “hear” the knife work…I like how the knife sounds doing it’s job so I turn it way up so I can hear it. But I always forget I did that because when your voiceover starts again it’s like a jump scare hahaha

Love watching your videos. Got a question. All the loose hoof horn being removed is falling to the floor. It's a farm, gonna assume there are dogs around. I know dogs love to eat that hoof horn. What about the hoof horn being removed from around a spot if dermatitis? Will that affect the dogs that eat that particular hoof horn. Would it cause them to develop dermatitis? I buy hooves for my beasties to chew on, the ones you get from the pet stores. But it just dawned on me. Would that bacteria be present on the hoof horn you're removing? And if so, does it present a possible problem for a dog that may snatch a piece & run off with it's ill-gotten bootie (hoof horn)?
It’s always nice to see the cow after she’s had her pedicure and on her way out, when she suddenly realises that Hey, this foot feels better. I’m sure with regular hoof trimming, the cows come to understand that although it feels stressful while it’s happening, that they know in the end, they’ll feel far more comfortable afterwards. Cows are NOT dumb animals .

I’ve been getting recommended other hoof trimmers from watching you, and it makes me cringe in anger how tough they are compared to you. Seen one of a dude and 3 others using prods on a group of less than 20 cows and cutting open this huge tumor on one’s tail repeatedly with a razor blade, no vet in sight. Makes me grateful for more compassionate people like you.

I am not around cows much, machinest by trade. We find your videos so fascinating! My 6 year old went and got a pair of socks and gave her "hoof" a wrap. She liked the blue wrap better. Cheers from the 920.
