It's funny who tries to be smart about bass players telling them to "play it right or to tune the instruments" when you don't even hear the sound right especially in that style so spare me
The bass is in tune, the problem is that he's gripping the strings so hard it's bending them up out of key. Either way, it's not Mark's job to tune his bass. When a band gets this big they have techs backstage who sort all that stuff out so the show runs more efficiently
@@User-jk8wq Got it, he really hits the bass strings hard but I still thought it matched... (nice to know the person in the comment from 8 years ago is still alive).
@@peanuts666 if you complain that it sounds bad then you don't really like punk/pop punk music and are a poser because that's what half of these bands sound like live.
After watching this, I'm starting to have doubts about the validity of the "live" album, the Mark, Tom, and Travis Show. That shit was perfection through and through. But this one song, Tom and Mark were messing it up left and right.
The performances on that album sounded just as good in their respective live shows, I used to have the videos but I don't anymore. They put autotune on the album version to piss people off lmao
Most live DvDs and Albums are recorded in a studio after the show and dubbed in the crowd noise and banter from the concerts. Its done so the production value is higher and people will enjoy listening to them. Not ALL albums, but a great majority of them are done this way
Yes, the guy that dropped sticks multiple times during a show and was off beat most of the time when playing incredibly basic songs really had great stamina. Not the guy who runs 3 miles a day, hits as hard as any punk drummer along with insane speed, and never takes a song off during an hour+ long set. Right...
Afonso Markmann Yexactly. But I really think they need to find the right guy to play a 2nd guitar that has a great funny punkish personality like these fucks. Not just some random guy who has skills.
