Some people seem to be born with a success mindset, but it's possible to develop it too.
When you discover that #success isn't about you getting something, you can shift focus onto bringing success to the world in general.
In this video I discuss what research from Carol Dweck's tells us about fixed and growth mindsets and which of these leads to success, and also the how to guide your clients towards finding hidden possibilities that they might otherwise have missed.

I am currently studying Psychotherapy and I have discovered your videos today. They are fascinating and refreshing and more importantly I am truly listening to what you are saying! So many tutors are so dry in their delivery. Thank you!

Thank you! I've always had a growth mindset until life became extremely hard and I lost hope. I don't give up on my long term goals so settling anf feeling comfortable in the moment is very hard for me. I don't think Ive heard anyone talk about this problem with growth mindset. We have setbacks just like everyone else.

Charming short video from a gentleman. Brief but profound. Novel to hear success framed as something that lifts others as well as the self. In my country (Kenya) success is about hoarding power and resources for the self. But am i a successful human being if others suffered for my success? That's one for each to decide.

Opposite to maybe general belief, being successful, happy, or accomplished takes courage and strength because it's in human nature that as soon as we obtain something significant, we start fearing its loss... So, yes, prepping an appropriate mindset is of crucial importance to enjoy our accomplishments :) Excellent advice - to envisage success as a sort of service, not an egocentric state. Its not just about you, but helping others become successful, and you Mark can tell a lot about that :)

I have a good life that I am very grateful for; I'm not rich, but all is fine. I enjoy learning, a currency that never loses value, and no one can take away what you have learned. I can see others improve, which is your success.
