I really love this video. I commented along time ago in one of your videos and told you I wasn’t vegan but I your videos are motivating and positive. Well I made the transition in August and am now Vegan. Thank you for the helpful advice. I am one of those people that’s try’s to hard to focus on protein. I won’t be focusing on that anymore.

Get out there and move, incorporate consistent movement all the time, eat wholesome plant foods! Great stuff! I’m an endurance athlete and much of this stacks up for running too. Consistency, focus, diet etc. One difference is that it’s important to be mindful of stress load - when I’m running 75km a week, it’s OK to avoid the standing desk :D, but I agree wholeheartedly about not sitting on sofas etc “too” much - kneeling, squats etc on the ground are so much better for us! Thanks for this one!

Hi from France ! Yes I agree, and I can testify about what you say at the end, for 3 months I couldn't workout because of an injury, I had to start from a lower level, very frustrating.. I couldn't be consistent enough for the first weeks and I was postponing a lot, BUT each workout, even some easy sets, made me feel so good. Anyway I knew I really wanted to be in shape again because I love training and I have set some targets.. And after a few months, the more I trained the more i felt good ! Now I am back on tracks ! And I feel way better, more energy, I don't postpone a workout and train 5 times per week ! 💪 the more you train the easiest it is to stick to it rather than start and struggle to be consistent, so you need guys to keep that in mind ^^

I forgot I subscribed and seeing the thumbnail in my feed I went like *meh, another omnivorous fitness video, I sure am gonna learn a few things but it'll be based on a nasty lifestyle full of cruelty yadayada* I hit play and man... your videos are just so refreshing...! We can feel by watching that you feel great in your life and that in itself is such a motivation to me as a viewer to hustle at the gym being vegan, gains can seem harder at times (as we see we have to get a bit more technical about our diets) but once it's part of your routine it's easy (and pleasant) as hell and you can just go on enjoying life in good shape Thanks for the video, I appreciate it

You are so motivating. Thank you for what you do. I look about what you looked like after a year of calisthenics, but I've been doing calisthenics longer than that. :( And I'm pretty darn skinny but have a stubborn bit of fat lower abdomen that just does not want to go away, if I try to make sure to get enough calories. So I've tried to get enough protein and as low calories as possible but I realize you are against that. It's frustrating. Also I'm over 50 and when I was 20 it was way more easy to gain muscle.

“The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides the champion from someone else who is not a champion. That’s what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they’ll go through the pain no matter what happens.” ~ (Arnold Schwarzenegger)

I've got fibromyalgia after covid and having a bunch of surgeries, and the pain gets so bad that sometimes I need a crutch to get around. I get tired super easily, but I'm trying to stay consistent with even short workouts before and after work, particularly in the morning to loosen things up, in addition to workouts/physical therapy a few times a week. The first few months were hell, 4-5 days of DOMS after every workout, but I kept at it and slowly added more and more activity, baby-stepping into a gentle caloric deficit, and I'm finally starting to see results. It's been a frustrating grind with little pay-off up to now, but the only way out is through.

Since adequate fruit and vegetables intake my outweigh the risks of pesticide exposure. You can read his article on his website or watch the clip on his RU-vid channel.

MINDSET: I think the way fitness industry is promoting fitness is mildly responsible for the wrong mindset many people have. You get the wrong impression that a few sets here and there during the week will make you an athletic person. Often people underestimate that the most fun that comes from fitness referes to movement in general. To become a more athletic person first and foremost means to me: starting to enjoy movement on a daily basis, forgetting most of the time about the aims you may have and focus on the delicious momen. It means to listen to your body and see how grateful and happy the body is when you treat it with good food and different types and intensities of motion. Ironically, the best mindset is close to not thinking so much about it anymore and spending most of the time in the movements itself. Become an athletic person truly is a spiritual and holistic experience and I wish more youtubers would talk about it like this. It is not just muscles, endurance etc. that grows, its not your self estime etc. It is about you as a whole person, feeling, loving, moving that grows. This is the ultimate reason why you should do it.
