3 Scary Encounters With Phantom Hitchhikers 

I remember the Resurrection Mary case on Unsolved Mysteries .

I remember reading an article about a Japanese taxi driver over in Japan driving through one of the many towns that were destroyed by the tsunami of 2011. He talked about picking up a woman that was dressed in a business suit she was soaking wet and he let her in the cab and pulled off and asked her where she was going. She didn't answer he looked at her in the rear view mirror and saw that she was crying and then she asked a question: Am I dead ? Then she disappeared.

My uncle saw resurrection Mary on archer ave one block east of Harlem ave. There were several others who had seen her at the same time, including two police officers. He said she was dancing down the road as she went but she disappeared about three blocks down. He has never forgotten what he had seen that day.

My friend, your remarkable work is truly loved. It is always a delightful experience to hear your soothing voice during the nighttime, as it helps me sleep profoundly in the darkness.

I read in a book about one. Telly Savalas of Kojak fame has an interesting ghost story regarding someone who helped him one night. You could probably find it easy enough in here if you searched it.

Being from North Carolina and having relatives that live in High Point, I've heard of Lydia. But, they have never figured out who she actually would be. I remember hearing about people picking the woman up. I've seen things on tv about this one who would be a demon or vampire.... what people will say or do for 15 minutes on tv. The last one I've heard about for years. There was even a song about it. It's called, Laurie by Dickie Lee. Too much of a coincidence not to be about this.

We told Resurrection Mary stories around the camp fire in the 60's when I was a kid.

i remember in 82 i slept at my auntys house for the night and her son my cousin used to say i will not sleep in the first room of the house as he said he used to see a woman in there well we all scoffed an laughed til my aunty put me in there for the night as i laid on the bed the woman appeared in really old fashioned clothing i cacked myself i was stiff with fright i didnt move i moved my eyes to the side and she was just standing there but not looking at me just standing looking towards the doorway and ive never slept there again i believe when ppl die they dont know their dead i dont think they mean to scare us their just caught in a dimension i say

Aww I live near the Ainsdale place and have been on that road loads. It's true there's just sand dunes on either side but I've never heard that story. Mind you, I usually only go down that road in the summer when it's properly warm and I'm heading to or just been on the beach. On warm days, there's a lot of people riding bikes as there's a cycle path. But ..maybe not back then. The cycle paths look newish.
