3 Encounters with Hellhounds 

Im from suffolk, UK, and remember being in the back of the car as my parents drove by bungay church, and them telling me about the scratch marks on the door, and the devil dog. Scared the crap out of me as a kid.

I grew up in Essex and there were a lot of paranormal stories about people encountering spectral hounds on country roads at night. One time my brother swore he saw a black dog walking alongside him when he took a shortcut through a field. He saw the grass parting in front of it as it walked, but it never attacked him. According to the folklore, Black Shuck changes nature depending on where you see him. In Norfolk and Suffolk he's aggressive, in Cambridgeshire he's an omen of death, but in Essex he protects travellers.

There is an old dirt road in my town that used to be the only road that you could travel on to get to the next town over. Probably around 25 years ago my best friend, her mother, and myself were driving on that road in her dads big pickup. Out of nowhere something very big with dark fur ran in front of us and her mom hit it. She stopped and when we looked back it was already back up and starting to run off again. We have black bears here but this was larger than a bear but built more like canine. To this day we don’t know what it was but it scared the hell out of us that night.

Thanks for that upload. I agree with another observer that it sounds like a Dire Wolf. They are supposed to be extinct, but I've seen a picture of one on RU-vid in the last year. So you never know! I love this channel. I always learn something.

I'm from Upstate NY and I've had TWO encounters with hellhounds in this area. I remember both quite well and was very scared both times.

This is a great channel! I watch lots of videos about paranormal phenomenon, but I always learn something new here. Thanks for always doing deep research into lesser known stories! 😊

Maybe the Creature in the Twain forest was MOMO ,Missouri's Bigfoot. My friend said the one he saw was rust colored

There’s a story of out of New Mexico with a couple traveling through the desert They claim to have had a pack of wolves or what they thought were wolves, travel alongside of their vehicle at speed of 90 mph plus I’ve tried to search for this story over and over again, but I cannot find it. I believe I read it on Facebook. If anyone recalls the story, please leave information where I can look it up. Again thank you kindly

When I was a child one night my sister and I spent the night at my grandparent's house, who lived in a fairly rural area (back then, it's a suburban hellscape now.) After bedtime, I looked out on the road and saw a dog running rapidly down the road, lit by the moon. Scared the crap out of me. Odds were it was just the friendly stray we saw on a walk the next day, but still.

Crazy my aunt as a teen had spell put on her by my other aunt who practiced witch craft put a spell on her and she dreamt that hellhounds were dragging her to hell wich was a scary arse dream whatever attacked her she managed to push it off and she heard a thud and she turned the light on no one was there 😮

As soon as I saw that the white dog had blue eyes and the Black dog red, I was waiting for the moment when they claimed the Black dog was bad,and the white one was good. Am I the only one that noticed this?
