Imagine you're some dude who buys a house out in the middle of nowhere, then Mark just shows up one night, breaks into your house and starts rummaging through all of your rooms and drawers, all the while insulting you.

Am I the only one that loves watching people play scary games but can't make myself play it alone... 😅

I started watching it and the food theory theme started playing when he was talking to Lixian at the beginning with the "It's not me." and I was so confused and then it was even better because when Mark started to slowly turn around MatPat started talking and then I realized that it was playing from another tab. The greatest experience ever.

One of these days when Markiplier runs around a corner at a monster he sees/hears, I desperately want it to actually be there instead of disappearing.

I love how mark is so nice. Even when the games are stupid (#2) he still is like “oh that’s nice. I liked it” and gives props to the developer. Mark is such a nice soul

One of the more impressive things to be about Mark's vast experience with horror games is his ability to immediately identify something as a threat or just an ambient scare. If it can hurt him, he runs the fuck away. If it can't, he face-checks it almost without fail.

Soon enough markiplier will be a horror game expert and we will all have to suffer markiplier creepy pastas (evil Lixian and Chica)

When mark is 94 I can just imagine home going “I WAS LOOKIN AND IT DIDNT LOOK”

That first jumpscare in the first game genuinely startled me, i also really love the scribbled and kind of crayon/cardboard looking artstyle

THERE WAS A WEEN REFERENCE AT THE END OF THE LIGHTKEEPER LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO the weird distorted song playing at the end of the Lightkeeper game was from the end of "She Wanted To Leave", on Ween's album "The Mollusk", an album with heavy nautical themes that directly inspired the creation of Spongebob Squarepants. "She Wanted To Leave" is about a sailor whose ship is boarded by pirates, who then kidnap his lover and possibly commandeer the ship itself. The sailor is disheartened to learn that his lover never truly loved him, and the whole time "she wanted to leave", and gladly goes with the pirates. The sailor gathers a crew, tells them to "gather the guns"(procure some cannons), and tracks down the pirates. As he is about to fire his cannons at the ship, his ex-lover begs him not to shoot, because she is now with her true love(either one of the pirates, the ship, or the freedom of being a pirate on the open sea). The sailor sinks the ship anyway, and in the last verse of the song, laments that "I'm not the man I used to be...Now, I'm one of THEM." He has become just like the pirates he despised for taking away his love. After a long silence, the distorted tune from the end of The Lightkeeper plays. It's actually the same tune from the first song on The Mollusk: "I'm Dancing in the Show Tonight", which is a very lighthearted, carefree, and childish song. But at the end of the Mollusk you hear it once more, sad, slow, and distorted to symbolize that loss of childhood innocence, or perhaps to symbolize a faint remembrance to when things were happier, or perhaps to symbolize that the album is like a circle, doomed to repeat. The Mollusk is really good everyone should go listen to it its got fucking OCEAN MAN on it.
