I have been following you so long. There were lot more misconceptions about the test. After seeing you, all of my faulty ideas evaporated. Thanks a lot...... U r good, sorry, infact u r brilliant
this Guy is the best. i tried to do everything what the other channel said and they are quite famous than this channel but i found this channel is more useful. and way way better. specially in writting and speaking i dont have budget to apply for ielts review so im happy that your uploading a video in youtube. my exam will be on 10th this month. but almost everyday i used to stream your video not lessthan 3x hahah thank you very much chris
Thanks for these lessons, I find them very helpful and handy. It is really a good point to not consider it as a test of knowledge and ideas, rather consider it as a mere speaking test; this way of view can help the test taker feel more at ease and confident. Very good advice. Thank you

Words are short to thank you Sir Chris. My speaking test went good, i was nervous until i got into the waiting room, and, after the i read what all was on my passport to divert my mind and the test went good. I got L R W(academic) tomorrow.
Chris, I don't have enough knowledge for part 3 questions. In my last attempt, cue card about lecture you listened. Part 3- what are the effective ways to listen better? What are the jobs needed listening skills? Even though I can't think spontaneous answers for this questions, somehow managed to answer it.
Hi there, please read this article from our website 'IELTS Advantage- My IELTS test is next week, what should I do?" on what to do the week before your exam. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Best of luck with your test.
Do they mark you down if you have a stammer? Will it affect your fluency score even if you get special arrangements in the form of extra time and if you present a medical certificate?
A stammer can definitely make it more difficult for you to get a high score and you will need to work harder in the other areas to compensate for this. However, IELTS will also make an allowance for you as it is a medical condition. When you are booking your test, you should bring a medical certificate with you to show that this is the case and present it to the person you book your test with. IELTS will be able to offer you more time in the speaking test so that you can show what you're capable of besides having a stammer.
Thanks for sharing this useful information but I ve heart from my teacher memory as more answer as you can it will help you fluency and coherence is it true

I gave my speaking today. The cue card was to ' talk about something you taught to someone younger than you'. I spoke about enrolling my daughter to swimming class, though I didn't teach her. Does that affect my score? Also the invigilator kept on interrupting in the middle in part 3.
Hi there, do not add these words intentionally, however, it is completely natural to say these sometimes. Here is a useful link for you to check out: www.ieltsadvantage.com/2016/08/12/ielts-improve-fluency/ Let me know if this helps.
Hi Chris I saw your videos very helpful, I got 6 in my listing and with the online teacher, they said you can do more than this but not sure what's wrong in am doing in the exam. need your advice with 1 to 1 session.

Some people say that you should take a strong stand on your view point and not change it at all during part 3 like don't give contradictory info. Is it true?
Hey Chris Could you tell me how to remove pause. I commit so much pauses while speaking and it is my big problem. Is there any solution to remove pause.
Is this something you do naturally or is it because you are nervous during the speaking test? Feel free to email me so we can discuss how to help you improve your Speaking score, chris@ieltsadvantage.com
@@Ieltsadvantage thanks for replying sir jii🙏, it happens naturally with me because of my mother tongue, and pitch rate gap is more high than expectation.....your videos are very helpful always .

Since this part 3 is more about giving answers in general & not what the speaker thinks.... Are we supposed to just stick to logical Or question related answers? Are marks being deducted for drifting from the actual question? Kindly reply. Thanks a ton
Hi there, Marks will be reduced from drifting away from the question. You can expand on your answer by giving a clear explanation, an example and even by acknowledging the other side of the argument, but it all has to be relevant to the original question. If you need help with your Speaking module feel free to email us, we have a great IELTS Speaking course. Our email is chris@ieltsadvantage.com.

It is completely fine if you have to ask the examiner the meaning of a certain word, however, you cannot ask the examiner to explain what a whole sentence means.
