Hi Kelli, I just came across your video. I agree with everything you have said. And the main thing is to not give up hope. I have been trying for 13 years. I have had 6 miscarriages. My 1st @ 18 weeks. My second @ 17 weeks, 3rd and 4th in the first trimester, 5th @ 14 weeks and my most recent @ 22 weeks. It is the hardest thing to have to bury your children. Everytime I think it can't get worse, well my recent son, was born alive, but doctors couldn't save him. I held him until he passed away. But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. At one point I did blame myself, but at the end of the day it's no one's fault. I have been asked if I feel jealous of other people who have children and my answer is no, because they are giving birth to their children, not mine. If they were giving birth to my children, then yes of course I would have an issue with that. I have lost alot of friends over time due to this, some don't know how to deal with it, so have chosen to distance themselves instead of comforting me, some have said indirectly that I should not try again as I know that my babies do not survive, so I am basically killing them. It's been a tough road. But I believe that God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers. One thing that keeps me going is that I have to be strong, because when I do have a child, I have to be fully there, so I cannot break. Also if I can get through this, if one day, when I do have a child, if my child had to experience anything tough, then I know he/she will also be able to cope and manage. I hope anyone who is reading this that has gone through any losses, stays strong, and keep reminding yourself that nothing is your fault and if someone says something nasty to you, you don't need them in your life.

I resonate so much with #2. I felt bad for even beginning to think that after my first and second loss. After my third loss, when people finally started to listen to me and recommended me to a high risk OB, I finally came to the conclusion that the medical industry is basically inadequate on the subject of recurrent miscarriages. It’s baffling and frustrating to hear a high risk OB at one of the best clinics in the nation tell you that only 30% of women who experience RPL ever find anything wrong with them. It is also heartbreaking and astounding to know that when you lose one baby and fear losing another, that no one (in the medical field) will take you seriously. During my third early pregnancy, I was miserable night and day, calling my doctors and asking them what I needed to do. In my mind, I kept thinking, “Hey, I’m going to miscarry. Guys, what do I do?” Local OB assures me she was not worried about this pregnancy and sent me home without even looking at anything. Why do we have to lose 3 or more babies for someone to take action? It’s not right, and my only conclusion is that the medical field is clueless.

I live on a different continent, but what you said about the doctors is so true. It is like we went to the same doctors. Thank you for this video!

Really needed this. I've had 4 very early Misscariges this year. We have been ttc 10 months. Me and my husband do have 3 children so very blessed. Have had 3 other losses in the past but have never experienced 4 in a row. I agree with you I wudnt wish it on my worst enemy. Thanks for the video.

I’ve just lost my baby girl at 4 months, I was told I had a early miscarriage 2 years ago, I had 2 scans the week lost her and was told everything was perfectly fine baby growing perfectly heartbeat was fine and there was nothing wrong it to worry about. I bed rested for 2 months prior due to being told I had a small bleed. So I agree when you say it’s not our fault as what happens when you have an ideal pregnancy and haven’t done any lifting etc. I have to just trust that it wasn’t Gods will in this time for us and not lose hope! We’ve been waiting on God and battling infertility for 5 years and we will continue to keep trusting cxx

Thank you for making this video and I am so sorry for your losses. I had three miscarriages, the last one was a missed miscarriage; before that I had no idea such a thing existed. My doctor actually laughed when I showed concern during my last pregnancy because of having lost the two before it and she said it was NOT likely (that even the second was pure bad luck) I felt stupid for sharing my concern which really made it so much harder at the end when I did lose my baby. I realised doctors don't know anything about recurrent miscarriages and they keep saying the same things about chromosomes and bad luck and non of it is helpful or answers the question "why?".

I have had 2 miscarriages and I agree that I have to deal with self image and wondering if I have done something wrong. I am trying not to over think that. I have also been seeing a therapist and that has helped greatly!! I cannot say that I have the same experience you did with your Doctors. I have a great ObGYN and I wish everyone could have someone as great.

Thank you for bringing up the doctors and medical field stuff. On my third miscarriage and it’s like I’m asking a stranger off the street for advice, not a medical professional. 🙄

I’ve genetically analyzed over 100,000 miscarried and aborted fetuses and I felt the pain for all those couples. I would just like to let you know that those babies did not die for no reason. Their deaths served a purpose. Fetal genomic data is very important to understanding what humans are all about. Scientists need data to analyze abnormalities so they can find ways to correct it. From analyzing the beginnings of life, scientists will discover new ways to extend people’s lives. Please don’t give up hope and faith for having a baby. My advice to you is simply try to reduce your stress levels and be happy. Once you can train your mind to do that, your system will be ready to develop a new life. Anti-depressants and many other drugs increase the risk of miscarriages. I’m not a stupid doctor but I do wish you all the best.

I’ve had multiple tries with my husband and I’m 20. But the thing is that I’ve always had miscarriages within 4-22 weeks. Today would be my 6th miscarriage within the year but it’s still sad that I can’t have kids.. my mom would shame me saying it’s easy to have kids, you just don’t want kids. but I just can’t and there’s always more we can do to have kids such as adoption

MY cycle came on exact time it should three days ago. We hope to try again shortly. It is crazy what this does to our minds and bodies, still feel out of body and this isnt real

My ob/gyn told me to do ivf. I asked him how will it guarantee a positive pregnancy throughout the 9 months. He said he cant guarantee. So...i can conceive naturally...but i miscarried. How can he be sure it wont happen again if i did ivf. What if genetic testing is done but I still miscarry? I do not like their approach and their beside manners is severely lacking. I am sorry for your loss. I went through one miscarraige and i feel crap. I cant imagine what you are going through. I am watching Marc Sklar here on youtube to get answers for alternative methods

I totally agree with you that drs are clueless and don’t know how to handle RPL. They automatically classify you as infertile, when in reality they have no explanation for it.

It’s important to feel hope but I wondered if there’s anyone who feels the same as I do - stories of people getting the babies after years and years of trying SCARE me… I mean , I always think ‘it’s time if you life …it’s all your finances ..it’s all the pain you had to go through ‘ - was a baby really your life goal or did that person become obsessed cause it wasn’t happening ? I know it will sound rediculous but I spent my 20s becoming a lawyer through so many hurdles just to realise I hated it. I’m now 34, I had 2 miscarriages already and I can see that my life could be good if I never wanted a child …not like I can fix my desires but I already feel I’m becoming fixated and going into this long painful process and it scares me 😔😔😔 I want a baby , but realising a have to dedicate my life and leftovers of my youth and go through all this pain upsets me so much :((( I know people will say ‘well may you don’t really want one!’ But I did more than anything . Lost my daughter at 16weeks. Another at 8 weeks, then a chemical pregnancy (loss at 4 weeks). Im now pregnant and started Lovenox. I have no idea if that was the issue (clotting) but we will see and wait with hope.

I just had my second miscarriage 3 days ago 💔

I have had five. My last one was a boy and considered a late miscarriage. It was the most horrible pain ever! My other miscarriages were not nearly as painful. The doctor told me I should stop trying and get on birth control.

I found out last week (at 13w2d) that I had a miscarriage. This is the 3rd miscarriage. We did IVF and it was genetically tested "normal". Something happened with the placental development. I can't control that; neither can the doctors. I feel so broken. I'm also angry at myself for not trying for a baby earlier in my life in my 20s. I just figured when I was ready it would happen. Wow so far from the truth. I made a huge mistake and didn't have my priorities straight. Now I don't know if I'll be blessed with a baby at all. I'm shattered

Go to a really good fertility specialist. Take your sac for testing after miscarriage. Demand answers. Always do genetic testing first. Don’t lose help

The hard part for me is that I do still feel like it’s my fault because I’m almost 38. I just had 2 back to back missed miscarriages. Waiting on genetic test to see if it was chromosonally abnormal which still kinda makes me feel like it’s my fault. Not giving up I’m just so scared. Also waiting on other blood tests to see if I have blood clotting issues where I might need blood thinners to have successful pregnancy or if we just need to keep trying to have a healthy one at some point 🥹❤️

Had three miscarriages, I was tested and I had a MTHFR mutation. I was put on a Folate prenatal instead of a Folic Acid prenatal along with a baby aspirin. Recently got pregnant after taking the "right" supplements and just had my 4th miscarriage. I have to go into deeper genetic testing now.
