I was diagnosed with osteoporosis April 2023. I live in NC. I started right away doing your exercises. I get rechecked in May 2024. Thanks for your videos.

I was diagnosed with osteoporosis this past year (age 69) when I had a routine dexascan. Fortunately I have had no broken bones but now I’m frightened that I will do something wrong to put myself at risk. Your channel has given me courage to exercise safely. I really appreciate your explanations and clear directions.

Diagnosed two years ago, but better after taking a weekly “bone” pill. Sodium alendronate.

My sister was a big swimmer. She has major osteoporosis, multiple compression fractures. She swears it is great for bone density. 😮

I've been in hospital 4 weeks bursitis pain faĺl causing haematoma I had blood transfusion I nearly died. Hospital care was excellent im now out with exercises and physio to heal the damaged tendon. Good to see your aim fitness and participate.❤❤❤❤ glory to God

I had a fall and suffered terrible pain in my back for 18 months before being diagnosed with osteoporosis.

@@AIMFitnessActivitiesInMotion I really was surprised meg, especially when I had been doing everything as was normal for me at the time as I had no idea I had a spinal fracture, an awful amount of pain, untill I eventually got a a scan!!!!!so it was then pain killers and modifying almost all my activities but here I am with you and no t doing to badly for a oldie . thank. you so much meg . I have osteoporosis in spine and hips and after a 75% compression fracture of my L3 last spring and a kyphoplasty I have been fearful but am starting to exercise again and am enjoying your help. Thank you. I do lots of walking. Wondering if rebounding with a Cellersizer would be good or not.

I was diagnosed in 2014 but wasn't ready to do anything about it due to issues with the medication they wanted to give me. This last year I started a different treatment than they originally recommended which thankfully is only once a year because the side effects are miserable! Thank you for this informative video!

Is Reclast (zoledronic acid) what you are taking? Would you mind sharing the side effects you're experiencing? I, too, refused meds for several years before opting in. Next up on the recommended menu is Prolia for years followed by Reclast - or just Reclast if I refuse Prolia. Neither sound like what I want so I'm collecting data where I can. Thanks,

Hi Meg, based on your 16 years of experience teaching clients with osteoporosis, may I know how many have improved their bone density? I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in November 2022, at age 64. I took up powerlifing then, and have progressed to deadlifting 90kg, with a BW of 55kg. After more than 12 months of strength training, I just had my second DEXA scan which shows that my T-score has 'improved' from -3.6 to -3.2. Even with the amount of weight I have been lifting, my bone density has only improved very minimally. In addition to the 3x weekly powerlifing, I also swim 2x and 30 min of balance & resistance band exercises 3x a week.

I have been exercising through yr videos quite a long time for 4times weekly and 2times doing eliptical. Do I have any chance by doing this to improve my dexa Tscore or the target is just maintain same level???? (I m under medication for osteoporosis). Osteoporosis can be reversed or not??? Thanks
