Why would you consider Plank a posterior chain exercise?

Hi! Great question. Sorry if my explanation wasn't clear. What I meant to say was this: a normal plank (without the wall) is definitely a anterior chain exercise, no doubt. BUT - by pressing the heels against the wall - through the contact point of the heels against the wall and the awareness created hereby - you can activate the posterior chain a bit more than without the wall. In comparison, a Reverse Plank or upward facing plank (aka Back Support in Pilates) would be the equivalent posterior chain exercise. Hope this helps.
