1. Green tea hair rinse 2. Vitamin D 3. Manage stress You're welcome😊🙏 Please watch the entire video so you will not miss important additional information and how to.
this is me right now.. i used to take my vit D everyday faithfully for months then i ran out and didn’t buy more . i was protective styling every month but i didn’t notice til recently my hair had gotten thinner and i definitely believe its because i stopped vit D 😩 and i need my thick hair back !!!
@@morsecode9787 you're right always ask your doctor the amount you should take. I was so deficient I have to take 50,000 once a week. Always get the blood work first.
Oh no. I take vitamin D 2000 units. Also try collagen. Take 2, one in morning one at night with food. Nails and skin looks great and thin spots filling in. Just in one week!!
Following childbirth, I noticed my hair fall but I stayed calm. I acted to to control it. I chose a wellness-focused strategy. I prioritized my nutrition, eating nutrient-rich foods, specially those high in Protein, Biotin. I worked out regularly and practiced meditation for stress control. I just stayed away from styles that pull on my hair and stopped using heated styling tools to minimise hair damage. I even started applying LittleExttra's Coconion shampoo, hair oil combined with a wooden neem comb. The result was hairfall control and the return of my confidence.
I am on my 2nd green tea rinse-I added ACV and have noticed there is little to no shedding now. I am so grateful for you and your wisdom you share! Thank you
@@lori9670 Hey sis. what's blu vervain?... I've never heard of that. I've been trying to get into the mushrooms but they're good for people with lupus like me... Pray fa mii... I'm working on it
Give the Aphogee curlific protein treatment a try, I love it! I put it in a separate container and add water to get more slip use a hot head leave it on for 30 minutes! I used to use the one that’s hard but it was too harsh. I feel like those are for people with color damage or heat damage. But for protein moister balance the curlific one is great!
Thank you for all your tips I've tried the green tea but I didn't rinse out lol missed that part but I do see the difference. You're looking beautiful as usual
Definitely going to start making my own green tea rinses, as I’ve noticed intended shedding when detangling prior to shampooing and afterwards when twisting my hair. Thank you, Tonya! Also, I went for my annual check-up, beginning of this year, I was deficient in vitamin D so I opt to eat my vitamins in addition to supplementing, as I know the soil is being depleted. Vitamin D acts as a hormone facilitator so I pair it with K2 because I have a history of heart disease on my maternal side.
When I tell you Vitamin D was the key for me! I did the tea rinses, but once I went for my annual exam and found out I had a Vitamin D deficiency and started taking a supplement, after about 6 weeks there was a major difference in the amount of shedding and breakage I had.
@@ennvee1989 I was told to take 2000 mcg daily by my doctor because of my deficiency. I advise you to get blood work done so you know what you need and what you don't. It any be iron or zinc for you.
As a mixed lady who doesn't know how to even treat my combo wild ass hair...thanks for this. I'm sick of it! Every time I shower I shampoo and condition I'm literally handling fist fulls of hair. I'm surprised im not bald!
I had a LOT of hair shedding. My mom suggested old school hair grease. I tried softee Indian hemp, a small amount about 3-4 times a week and my shedding dropped by 75-80%. I can’t argue with results
oh yes.. I've been so stressed lately like never before and haven't seen the sun in ages (living in the north of Germany and its winter now....) and for the first time in my life, I have been experiencing hair loss... Thank you for the advice!
I needed this in December when I had covid! I lost about 50% of my hair! I still tempted to try this the next time I am going through a stressful time or sick.
@@kamogelophale9426 I started collagen powder and bone broth powder when I was still shedding, still taking it. I also talked to my dr. about biotin, he approved, for me. I made sure to massage my scalp very gently, moving the scalp-not the hair. My hair is shorter but it is so healthy now. Don't give up. It will come back, even if you only wait for it naturally. I felt better actively doing something. The protein and collagen really did help after being so sick and malnourished. Best of luck and God Bless.
Hi Tamara, thanks for sharing. I had covid also in May started shedding a lot of hair in July and I am trying to bounce back. Did you end up cutting your hair or did you just start taking care of it with the green tea and supplements? I have been trying so many different things because my hair that was left had a really hard time retaining moisture so I am trying everything that I can and I feel like I'm going to resort to having to cut the majority of it. I know it's not a bad thing I just didn't want to have to because, well I don't do well styling my hair LOL I'm super low maintenance and keeping it in a bun or two braids just kept it simple. TIA!
@@tinal6594 I had below shoulder hair and extremely thick. I lost over half of it! I ended up trimming frequently. Each time shorter, until about ear length. It all started coming back, suddenly. My hair is wavy/curly and the texture and curl pattern have changed. It is super healthy and now is getting close to the top of my shoulders. I would absolutely use the green tea. Feed your hair what it needs. Protein or moisture. I used oil before I shampooed. I forced myself (I hated wash day because it was so scary seeing all the hair!) to wash my hair more often, so as to get and keep a healthy scalp. Don't loose heart. One day you will notice a change or you will get a compliment. And you will see a "halo" of new growth (I first thought it was frizz 🙄). I hope this answered your question.
@@youwishyouwere1ofone709 Not as regularly as I should've - I'm still kind of tweaking my regimen. Still seeing shedding but I fell off with the Vitamin D so I'll get that back in rotation and evaluate. My hair is long but not as thick and healthy as in the past :-( Also started black rice water treatment today. Fingers crossed! lol
@@toptierluv2656 I think it's doing better! The shedding is much less. I actually make a mixture with green tea, aloe vera juice, rosemary tea, and fennel tea lol. I made an oil mixture as well and use black rice water once per month.
Hey sis thank you so much for the tips and I bought both of your ebooks and I am enjoying them immensely. Your makeup looks beautiful by the way. Have a blessed day!
4. Check with your Dr. if you have any underlying medical conditions that may lead to shedding. Getting a solution to that may reduce/eliminate shedding
Thank you so much woman of God, I've been loosening my hair since overcoming Covid 19 weeks after my 50th birthday. In 2021, I'm still in recovery, my hair has suffered. It's very dry and brittle. If there is anything else I can try topically, dietary already tacking Vitamin D, Iron, magnesium Vitamin C. I don't smoke nor drink. Any advice is very appreciated. Bless you beautiful. 🙏🏽 From across the pond, Uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hey Angela! Thank you! I would give it some time, and remain consistent with your regimen. Increasing your deep conditioning to once a week can help as well. Keep going! ☺️
Let me tell you something! Thank you so MUCH for your content. My hair has been shedding at an alarming rate. My hair line has thinned out so much I feel like I'm almost balding around the perimeter of my head! I've watched a couple of your videos and you motivated me to decide to have my iron, ferritin, and vitamin d levels checked. Needless to say, I found out that my ferritin is low AND that I am SEVERELY vitamin D deficient. The tests gave me confirmation that I'm A)Not crazy and B) That the issue is fixable. Now I am on my way to recovery and I hope to see some improvement in a few months. I would've never thought that I was deficient. Thanks again for what you do!
Is there a certain hair “type” (4b, c, etc) that should or shouldn’t use the green tea rinse?... i know a lot of ppl swear by coconut oil but my hair didn’t take well to it at all. My hair is shedding like crazy and i don’t want to stress it out more if the tea rinse is for a certain curl pattern. if that makes sense.
Thats right..I also take a collegen tablet and my thin spots are growing and filling in so nice. Plus my skin and nails are growing. Thanks so much. No more stress too. My new favorite word forever is "NO."
Thank you so much. It seemed like yesterday, my hair was shoulder length. It's so sad when someone is creating stress in your life, and pulling other people in to create more stress. Little big me doesn't need a gang of people to handle. My hair loss has short patches that can't catch in braiding. It is so short. It the stress has been for so long, with constant pounding. I've stresses with my man cheating on me or a test, or a job, or some other, but can you imagine having five people attacking you all at once and for a long time. It was bound to happen that all of my hair has come out.
Sooo needed this I was literally just asking my sister how to stop my shedding. I’m definitely Vitamin D deficient physician diagnosed. I just hate taking medication 🤦🏾♀️
Thanks for sharing! Sounds like I can use this as a conditioner. I always seem to experience shedding when I use conditioners. What Green tea brands and k2 do you recommend?
I needed to hear this. I'm recovering from alopecia areata but i discovered two more small spots. I know it's due to stress and me getting older. I'm a nurse so I'll ALWAYS have to deal with stress.
THANKS YOU....I just couldn't figure it out...Dr advised that my Vit D levels are abysmal 😔. Got me a script for potent Vit D and will stop STRESSING about the shedding!
I have been deficient in vit D for years, I get it tested bi-yearly and just got it just above the normal range... my hair shedding is worse now than ever... highly doubt vit d has anything to do with hair loss... I read vit A is connected... also medication and hair loss is connected.. I take a bi-yearly infusion for MS.... asked my Dr if it's related to my hair coming out in chunks.... don't know tho:(
