Ultimate Baseball Training Seriously thank you because I got released to play baseball again after back surgery about 4 months ago and have been working trying to get better and your videos have been helping
Excellent video Justin! In practice I will have our players work in knocking something off of a bucket of balls like an old batting helmet, gloves, weighted balls, or stuffed animals. If they start getting frustrated I make them throw into a ball bucket laying on home plate from all over the field. I have even used it for out fielder's to hit their cutoffs. Another drill I did for my daughter was to use a softball pitchers screen with the hole through the net with a hitting net behind it to catch the ones she put through the hole. She plays 3rd base a lot and the net pitchers screen they have is perfect for the location if the 1st baseman's glove location. I started doing a static fielding drill working around the ball and progressed to hitting balls to her and it helped tremendously with everything for her position play in the field.
Great video! I just started playing baseball 👩🏼⚾️ a lot of people said I should play softball instead but those people that said that didn’t know me at all. I am a very rough and tough girl.
Thank you so much!! I used to throw 40 mph a year ago, but now I throw 48- 50 mph. Edit: I play baseball almost every day with my friends. Don’t worry 😉 I’m a sub.
In 1997 I inquired about joining an adult Hard ball league here in Toronto . The intake guy or the guy who posted the add in the Toronto Sun explained that there are far more experienced players than I that a couple were ex major leaguers, some from trippleaAAA... Double AA and college players. He Told me a lot of guys find the routine too hard or even too grueling of practice and scheduled for the the first three weeks as one park is undergoing a facelift so its portauging to and fro from that park to that park and from that park to that other one if that one is closed. (They started up two weeks earlier than official park openings as its March 1st) c8ting how the first couple of meetings is orientation and evaluation and then they fill team rosters. He got around to asking me about my experience with baseball . 8 told him how it took three weeks to make the high school team where i was neck and neck with a returning player for center field. There were really only two spots open out of 56 hopefuls and as the guy was the home run champ plus he helped them win the league championship the year last . I didn't know that and found that out from the coach after i made a comment to the coach him about how he's sour around me and he was complaining of having to hustle for two extra practices cause of some glory boy. Well your PUTTING UP A challenge AGAINST last seasons LEAIGE MVP AND BECAUSE OF SOME PEE WEE CONTRACT HE SIGNED HE WAS ONLY SUPPOSED TO Be the DH. And i was shocked and i told the coach I didn't know. After his fit of laughing then going over to the assistant coaches and telling them and after they all had a good laugh... he went over and talked to Mike and then a relieved Mike exclaimed," I'm outta here!" Then winked at me. The coach put me at short stop saying I'm too quick and my reflexes are too sharp to be outfield. Only fatsos play outfield. He asked me how i got so fast as if i was brought up in the Dominican Republic. I hit 10 home runs one in the park Home Run for a total of 11 . Only hit one less home run than Mike but i had 13 doubles to his 10 and i had 13 triples to his 2 and 16 singles to his 15 singles. But he had 16 walks and 4 were intentional and I hit 30 rbi's in 16 games and three playoff and our one final championship game win . he won the MVP as he had 34 rbi's four more than me and he crossed the plate 36 times times to my 30. I averaged 3for 6 atb1walk per game for 16 total games. games but my glove work as he put it was well above par 14 errors finished 30 double plays. One triple play and 14 solo put out's. 5 where i just held and hid the ball then put them out just as the pitcher was about to set. I even pitched 2 scoreless... 3 up - 3 down innings . But as a DH he committed zero errors.. the next year near the same but with 16 home runs one grand slam in the park HR. And mike he wasnt there we won the city again and was Mvp hitting .750 in the playoffs going14 ⁰hitsfor1čl!v v0v b
Put an orange cone (onto a stand) with a neon softball on top so you will see it easier; when you try to knock the ball off the cone from long (or relatively short) distances.
I've been looking at that one and also the Juggs version.....I've seen some reviews of the Tanner that say go Juggs ("you won't regret it!"). Any thoughts on that one?
