3 Years Reaction: I QUIT MY 9-5 JOB to be a YouTuber 

Girl, I used to watch/listen to your video at work - this was back in 2021. I quit that same year! You helped me build up the courage to peace out. I am so grateful for your vulnerability!!! The "America is a scam" and "Enjoy being broke in the woods" parts were hilarious! 😂 It's like digging up a time capsule you buried in the backyard!

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! it's beautiful to see you come such a long way. That might've been the video that brought you into my life because 3 yrs ago I was getting ready to do the same thing but it didn't work out and I ended up having to get a job like 4 months later 😂 damn! Uh now I've compromised and I'm working part-time while also working on my other projects and I do absolutely love my job but I'm not financially stable so working on that. And probably returning to RU-vid soon. Much love Chimdi you're my inspiration 😊❤❤❤

what a great way to connect to your past self and love that you are feeling her speaking directly to (future) you!! i found that video a few months later when i quit and took a sabbatical---your rawness about the experience helped me know i wasn't alone in the experience and had someone whose journey i could walk alongside with! the driver for me to leave was similar to yours when you got that prompt, for me it was a meme about how America kept going during the pandemic while other countries paused; the job i was in could have paused but didn't so i realized then that i need to take care of me and i'm the only one who is responsible to do that for myself. and i know you said going back into full-time is ok for you, in that "rest" period, i learned it is NOT for me, lol. i began to clearly understand my values and realized freedom, especially of my time (i felt like i didn't own my time when i worked) was important so i decided my next venture was going to be part-time (with a salary enough to still pay the bills) and i manifested it!!! i do agree with the scam comment, lol. but seriously, i realize no one is promised tomorrow so why should we think we'll live to retirement age and if we do that we'll even be capable of living the (vacation) life we thought we worked hard for, so I just live it more now!! As always, thank you for sharing!!
